Highly doubt it. Other than the US Air card, I don't know of any cards that offer EQM's on the creditcard.

I was approved of this card, and I don't plan on using this very often. I am mostly after the bonus miles.

I read that this card doesn't report CL, so what would happen if I activate it, use it for a small purchase ($10) to get the bonus mile, pay balance, forget about it, and cancel it 1 year later to avoid annual fee? I wonder how this would be reported to the CRAs. a $10 high balance?

Wife signed up a short time ago. Just got "pre-approved" offer in letter which cited her balance (20,001 miles as of 7/17) he offer plus 1 mile earned from the spending required to get the miles.

Looks like they are not doing the rather easy screening needed to eliminate those who just took advantage of the offer.

The question is how likely they are to give her a new card if she sends the promotion in? Tmpted to wait till near the respond by date, and then send it in (presuming that grant cards for most of the pre-approved offers).

United does offer a list on their site of the routes with available free tickets. It is clear that most routes are not on that list (and even fewer on the short haul under 750 mile list where you get ticket for 15000 miles).Fortunately the route she is most likely to fly is on that list however. Someone who is worried about whether they could actually use the miiles may want to look at that list in deciding whether to apply.

My intuition is that the short trips may be easier to book because they will usually one leg (to and from a hub) rather than two legs both of which must have seats. Many of these would also be to interior cities which less often attract tourists. It does seem clear from the list below (and a promotion they are running) that trips using Denver are easier to book than using the Chicago hub.

For those that lack access to the web site. The list is below;

I called Chase about this because it was being reported as an installment account with no limit. I disputed and they sent me a letter indicating they have updated the information with the credit bureau's but it's been a week and the card "installment account" entry literally disappeared off my TU report, but never came back as a credit card. I would really like this reported as it's my highest limit. I'll call again today and keep this thread updated with what I find out.

it was 20,000. then it was 20,500. now it's 21,000. wonder if it's going to keep going up

So now we couldn't get the bonus miles by signing up the second card?

Yes, I just signed up last night.

I finally cancelled this card after a year...got my 20k miles exactly 1 month after I applied, (Jan 6th), the annual fee was billed to me on 12/1/06 I and just reallocated all but $560 of the credit line to another Chase card and closed it up. Too bad the other thread says Chase is now not giving this bonus away multiple times again or I'd do it again.

To update, the card did not reappear on my report. I got a letter from Chase stating they would attempt to reinstate the line on my report, but said it is very unlikely that will happen. I just closed the card as my last post noted so I'd rather not have it on there anyway.

Hello,
Seems like the offer link is good for "first time" account application. Is there any offer for third time application??? Thanks,
