Most likely, they will charge for the redeemed miles per the rate...

BTW, I got my card per the online system. The physical card still in the mail.

I wish it had come earlier, I just bought stuff worth of $2K on other card which gives me half the miles. Any way to get the double miles by somehow having the charges to the new card?

how bout flying on United, I hear that's a good way to get miles!

United is actually one of the cheaper airlines at my airport (Charlotte, NC).
