I think it is a good idea because many people have interest in their financial life at the start of college. I recently started to talk to another FW member that was in the same position as me and we help each other with information. I see many people from college asking questions about credit cards and how to begin with stocks. The thread can help each other answer questions and such.
So how about it? "Financial thread for all questions/answers for College students."

Sounds good to me as long as og5 can't post in it (asking about free government money or starting up a charity for himself would seem a little beyond the thread).
what ellory said. OP, you should edit the Quick Summary in the IWANNA thread, rather than creating a new thread asking others to do legwork.
Even better, volunteer to do some legwork yourself in the QS thread, and then follow through. I think you'll find that if you make a good-faith effort to do this right, others will be glad to provide suggestions and help.

I just posted in the "I wanna do it" thread and another FW member appears to have the same idea and has more ideas than me.
I like the idea! I, too, am a college student who is just starting to learn more about financial planning & saving and all that good stuff. This would be a great forum for us college kids to ask questions and hear advice from other students, or even older folks!
