that makes 7 people (perhaps 6 in this thread) with fake charges from ESTOREONLINE ROCKLIN, CA
should this be moved to HD for a few days? i think it'd get alot more coverage, most ppl dont venture past HD. i have a feeling there could be dozens, given that they have been pulling this scam for 2 whole months.
BTW this was on my AMEX blue. i noticed for 3 of us this happened on our AMEX cards, the other 3, were u using AMEX?
if so this might implicate a leak from AMEX but i still think page computers has something to do with it |

Op, gave you green. I think it is good to have these posted here, in case someone did not check the CC statements carefully. |

I got a charge of 15.99 from the same store on my AMEX blue card. I noticed this on Memorial Day, and I havent ordered any computer stuff. I immediately contacted AMEX, and they reversed the charge.

Add my two charges this summer after purchasing from Page Computers. I disputed with AMEX and never knew where the charges came from. All on FW should beware of this activity! |

Hmm, actually now I'm not too sure if I've ordered from Page Computers. I checked their site and they don't seem to have any of my old or present email addresses on file. Unless they deleted my account info to try to cover up their leak. Is there another website that they also operate? I can't remember... |

the page computer price mistake was around april 28th (received refund may 1st) so it may be the leak has been stealing/using our CCs slowly over the past 5 months |

Agree this should be moved to Hot Deals or another forum where people like to spend freely and dont pay attention to their finances |

Ok, kids time to come up with a new theory. I never ordered from Page Computers and I was hit with this mystery estoreonline charge of $15.99. I called AMEX as soon as it appeared on my statement, they told me it was a supposed bookstore and credited me at once in dispute.
BTW, this was on my AMEX gold. Interesting that so far I only read AMEX people in this thread. XFreebie said:the page computer price mistake was around april 28th (received refund may 1st) so it may be the leak has been stealing/using our CCs slowly over the past 5 months |

One-time CC numbers? I don't know about this. I do have a short-credit-line CC that I use for online stuff, figuring no one can go too far overboard on this CC, but one-time-use CC cards sounds like a good idea. Need to hear more about this. Oh, do a SEARCH? Ah-h-h... yes... might do that. pruks said: Moral of the story! Use one time CC numbers to buy stuff online and Check your statements every month!! or login to Yodlee frequently. |

Count me as another that got hit very recently by estoreonline - on Am Ex, once for 15.99, then two weeks later for 8.99. |

I was hit by this type of scam earlier this year on my long unused AMEX account. AMEX reversed the charge which was in the $15-$20 range. If enough people complain, then perhaps the FBI will take some action. |

I also just got a fraudulent charge on my AMEX Gold Business card for 26.99 from ESTOREONLINE ROCKLIN, CA
I have made purchases with the same card from Page Computers, however it seems wierd that the only ppl to report this charge have been AMEX cardholders. |

It might not be so weird. Perhaps Page computers sorts it's customers credit card data by card type and the American Express file was compromised by hackers or whoever is doing these fraud charges. |

Woops, I should have been more clear. I got hit with the same type of scam, in April, but from a different scammer ("webartoffer.net"). When I called AMEX, the rep put me on hold to check things, came back, and immediately refunded my money as if they already knew about it. |
