It's sad that ING never learn the lesson from the past few months. Don't they realize they are losing their loyal customers? |

Actually ING is adding customers. Close to 2 million this year alone. |

ING was one of the highest INT Rate. I have since moved my business to another bank. ING has focused on having a better short term cd than its competitors. |

They may be adding customers but their deposits are probably dropping. How many FW people have an account with one dollar in it because they moved everything to ED? That distorts the numbers. |

But how many people who aren't on FW see the ING symbol and the ads and say wow 3.4 that pretty good. the maybe 10-20k people on FW don't make what most of the population knows. |

I think FW users tend to move their money more frequently as well. For instance, if bank xyz all of a sudden offered a money market with a 4.15% rate, I bet the FW users would flock to it. |

Is there a $25 sign up bonus or that's been dead for a while?

I noticed that there's a way of linking Ing to emigrant for deposits- how about when initially opening the Emigrant account? Will it go through if I use ING's routing #'s, even though they say it must be a "personal checking" account? |

I am using ING as my bill pay account via Yahoo. Can ED do this too? If so I will close ING completely.
I do feel ING's website is better than ED. Seems more secure. |

ING does offer other services. But 0.1% raise is well insulting. I already opened an account at ED and will move much of my money over there. But I am more comfortable with the ING set up. So I will probably keep both since there is no minimum. I don't think ED offers custodial account, cd, IRA or mutual funds.
ED does not have referral bonus. |

I would think that ING has lost a trememdous amoutn of business to ED and others as well.
