The rate is now 3.40%. Just noticed it on the top of my account screen. Not a very big bump (.10%) and significantly lower than emigrant, but it's something I suppose.

Yeah, I have been leaning towards emigrant, was waiting to see if ING went up. Not happy with their rate anymore, .6% is significant. Just signed up for emigrant. Sorry ING.
glad i moved my $$ to emigrantdirect. ING is a JOKE?
with as much as were making at ed, we can pay the diff to ing customers the diffenece and still earn money. hahahah!!
Don't you think because of the mechanics of Pricing, ING would have to raise it rates or it will simply die in a few months.

there is no comparison between ING Direct and EmigrantDirect. At 3.40% ING is way behind from HSBC 3.75% and ED at 4.00%.
I am disappointed that they only raised .1%. I am going ahead to try ED too.

Whoopie!.. now I will earn 3.4 cents a year as opposed to 3.3.
I am glad I left ING for ED back when it was 3.5% to 3.3%. I mean raising it 0.10% is kind of insulting, isn't it?
Waiting for the letter from ED, and will move the money as soon as the account is ready 
. INGDirect used to be the best, but they're no longer is. It's suck that they only raise it by 0.10%. Their rate used to be higher than Fed's rate, but now they're lagging.
I agree that ING is too little, too late. I just pulled out to go to Everbank's 4.5% promo rate for next three months. By then rates may be higher at other institutions so I'll move it again. Emigrant Direct is already at 4%, so I doubt ING will be competative.
