Yes

Business name = Your name

I'd certainly like to get in on the biz card deal, given that I already have a personal card. However, I'm not going to try using my name as the business name over the phone. It's too risky for having to answer questions for a CSR. Hopefully the biz card deal will also show up online soon.

Too expensive to buy, you pay 2.75 cents per mile + transaction fees.

Depends on what you end up using the points for. The airlines value them for much less on their balance sheet, my own valuation is around 1 cent per mile.

Um, no. You pay $28/1000 miles.

Are you serious? Do you know what $28/1000 miles equals? 2.8 cents per mile. Are you really flaming him for his answer being 1/100th of a cent off of yours? I doubt it. Let's try to verify our math skills before spreading flames.

As long as we're playing semantics, it's worth pointing out that he was 1/20th of a cent off.

That would be 5/100ths of a cent difference

Link to buy Delta miles, check the fine print below the form for the price which happens to be 2.75 cents per mile + $25 processing fee + 7.5% federal excise tax. Let the math gurus figure out the effective cost per mile

For those looking for the BUSINESS link its here:

LINK

it's only for 15k miles, but I'll give up the 2500 in order to apply online

Why would someone use your 15k link when OP provided a 17.5k link?

Woohoo, just applied and got instant decision, 22.5k CL! Is AE always generous on CL's, or did I just get lucky?

alert mods

Amazed - i've got pooor credit nowadays and was also approved online with instant thing for $25k. Apparently they are always pretty generous.

Hopeful about earlier note - had a Delta card about 10 years ago; may not get bonus.

I was providing a link for the business card. The OP was for the personal card. I have edited my post to be more clear. Get the personal card, up to 20k miles, and then get the business, for another 15k miles. If you use the phone number provided on flyertalk, you could potentially get 17.5k miles for the business.
