Hopeful about earlier note - had a Delta card about 10 years ago; may not get bonus.
How poor is your credit? |

last fako score I saw was 629 - been down around 608 recently. Noticed on PG that they pulled from experian - have fewer inquires there.
Probably silly but your post made me curious - hopefully will get miles.
Also wonder if they may have reallocated my CLs - i doubt it. I have a green cash with a 12KCL; and a blue cash with a 20K - plus a business. If it works out then I'd have 55K+ to reallocate with, could be real useful with the right offer. |

I doubt they have a record of that promotional offer. I signed up for an AMEX Gold in May 2006 for 25,000 point promo. As of last week I had never received the promotional points. After being transfered from an AMEX CSR to a Gold Card CSR to a Reward CSR to a Promo CSR they supposedly had NO record of the promotional offer. |

This came as a direct mailing from Delta for the gold card. Details include: no-fee first year, 15,000 miles for sign-up, 2,500 extra for AU, and 15,000 miles when you spend $5000 by 3/31/06 (10,000 bonus miles in addition to the 5,000 SkyMiles you earn for your card spending). |

Since I received the sign-up 15K 2 gold cards ago, the deal isn't 32.5K for me, but was still good enough to earn my application |

I already did this offer months ago, and added my husband as a second user. My husband applied for his promo and got his card along with mine...Now, can I add his card under my account to manage, or do I need to create a new account for him? If I add it to my account login, will they not grant the points?
Thanks! |

Usually you have to be an authorized user to add another account. In this case, it sounds like your husband could open a login and then add your card, but you cannot add his card since you are not an AU. Alternatively he could add you as an AU. I don't believe this would affect the bonus mileage award. I plan to do the same thing. |

Do you mean additional cardmember as AU? Or is that something different? If I were to try and successfully add his card under my online account, that won't affect his getting the bonus points? |

Is there a clause that you have to keep this card open X months or they can take back your miles, as is the case on the Chase United card??
I would like to close this ASAP and move on to more rewards cards. thanks |

Doesn't seem to be any such clause - only mildly related notes in disclosures:
17,500 SkyMiles will be awarded to qualified American Express Cardmembers 8-12 weeks after the first charge on the Gold Delta SkyMiles Credit Card. This offer is valid for first-time Delta SkyMiles cardmembers only. You may be permitted to have more than one Delta SkyMiles Credit Cards account; however you are eligible to receive welcome bonus miles for only one Card account. Additional cardmembers are not eligible. 2,500 bonus SkyMiles® will be awarded to your Delta SkyMiles account 8-12 weeks for an approved Additional Card submitted with this application. I'm going to keep the card most the free year in hopes they come up with a 0% style offer - springs eternal you know. |

thx kizznay
Yes
Business name = Your name
couldn't this be a potentially bad move? Any tax ramnifications of making up a Biz name? What about from AMEX? |

Your miles may not post since card account name and miles account name don't match. |
