I think they do it at the end of the month when they do your statement, so they only transfer the money 1 time. |

The Kinko's by me do. But that is a pain to to make one copy get receipt, after only 300 copies or so, you will be at your $250 goal. |

No. "Bank of America debit card .... transferred from the customer's checking account into their savings account at the end of the day." |

If you already have a BOA saving account & a BOA debit card then you might as well sign up. If you don't then it is not worth it.
I have both so I will sign up sometime. Looks like I might get about $10 a month for a total of $20 a month added to my savings account. |

Does this savings account require a minimum account balance? I know BOA pretty much always require a minimum account balance unless you get direct deposit... food for thought. |

I think its $300. Usually checking accounts require DD, not savings. |

I signed up this week for it. I already had a BOA checking account. I think it is pretty easy to rack up the money. I go to the gym everyday and pass by the gas station anyway so I have pumped 3 $1.01 purchases on my way there. Honestly, it takes 3 minutes to do so. Essentially the gas is almost free (as they will credit your account with .99) and since I am going out anyway, it is not much of a hassle. So far it has worked. |

I already have a BOA debit card/checking account and savings account. When I went in the bank today I saw the poster and remembered. I signed up. It was so easy. No paperwork for me.
This is only a good deal IF you already have both account types. |

Can you donate $0.01 to your favorite (or least favorite) political party? I guess the recipient would have to pay the transaction fees. I remember reading this on another post regarding Discover recurring charges. Any experiences? |

You can make a credit card donation online to the Salvation Army. I'm gonna try it once with $0.01 and see if it works.

Terms are at the bottom of the page
The savings account must have 100 in it.
The way I read the terms, it looks like they do not put the money into your savings until AFTER 3 months of your one year anniversay of being enrolled. This pertains to the amount they match, not the amount you contribute.
This sound correct? |
