hotdeall said:That's why I am so confused. I dont know how can I keep track how much I will be matched after 1 year. I have 2 screens. The First one is in MAY, and the second one is in JUNE. When I get total of both months, I still dont get the amount of 249.36$ under YOUR KEEP THE CHANGE PENDING MATCH SUMMARY.

so, do you think that the amount will be matched after 1 year is the total amount of YOU KEEP ?? I don’t think you are showing all your transactions in those two screenshots. Sometimes BOA divides transactions for a particular day into groups and report each group separately. They also don’t always list all of the month’s transactions on one page. As fishbane has expressed in his post, it is impossible for you to get $60.39 from 25 transactions. You must have more transactions for June 3rd than what’s indicated on your June screenshot. You’re missing over 30 transactions for June 3rd. On your June page, above where it says “Your Keep the Change Savings History”, click on the “previous” button to see if there are more transactions for June. Also, you can click on the blue triangle next to 06/03/2008 to reveal the transactions. There should be a link at the bottom of the transactions list if there are more transactions for that date. The same goes for May. You should have more transactions for May 27th than what’s indicated on the screenshot you’ve provided. Click on the “previous” button to check for more May transactions. To answer your question, it looks like your matched amount is $249.36. |

I have a couple questions about the keep the change program. I have one personal checking and one regular savings with bank of america. I have maxed out the keep the change bonus. Now I have seen people mentioning doing this with multiple (up to 5) checking accounts, but do I need a new savings account for each one? That is to start over with the 100% match will I have to open a new checking and savings account and link them up, or can I simply open a new checking and link it to my current savings? |

You need a new savings account for each new checking account. Don't for get to feed the savings account $25/month to avoid the fee |

The match is keyed to the checking account. And with a Prefered checking package (minimum $10k balance in combined deposits accounts, credit card balances, HELOC, etc), the savings account is fee-free. |

Thanks. I'm gonna try with a new checking, but same debit card and savings account. The checking accounts are myaccess ones and are fee-free since I opened them online. The savings account is a regular savings and is fee-free only for the first 6 months. After that I am probably going to do the $25 transfer thing or just keep it above $300. |

I might offer a little warning here. I applied for these BOA accounts so I could participate in Keep the Change. The scrutiny the application attracted to my accounts led to closure of all BOA credit card accounts. The same thing happened to my dear wife and my son. |

Could you provide details, particularly how many KTC accts you applied for over what time period, etc? Thanks! |

I didn't read this before I applied and I thought something similar might be happening to me, since my application was turned down for generic reasons over the weekend. I called and asked about it this morning and was told it was because I didn't report my income on the application. I didn't think it was all that necessary, since I'm not applying for credit, I already have a BOA credit card and three bank accounts, and the application was able to be submitted without it. The CSR told me this was some requirement of the patriot act and that it was necessary to approve my account - I dunno. |

Alright, I understand that part. But are these subscriptions something that is already setup? Like a charitable organization, etc, or is this something I would setup myself? |

Sufficient amounts owed with other creditors. I called in to the number provided in the letter. CSR not interested in assets. Kept hammering amount of available credit with income 4X, amount of outstanding balances $250K, and verifiable income $132K. Not interested in opening even the account in which I was doing a lot of spending. |

If, like me, you tend to have a bunch of dormant BOA accounts sitting around, now might be a good time to try to close them. I just called, asked to close the account, cited non-use, and was offered $50 to stay if I paid 3 bills in the next 90 days. Great deal! |
