Frankly I'm not interested in 2-3 days float on my water bill. Even if I was, I pay all of my utilities with CCs. My billpays are to CCs mostly and I have a feeling BoA has deals to do electronic transfers with the issuers. |

No question about it. All major payee like Credit Card, Mortgage companies, and large utilities they do via ETF. Like I said my Water and Electric bill comes from the city I live in and they dont accept credit. This float advantage would come from any payee BOA would send a check too. So if anyone you do pay does not accept credit card then atleast you save postage and get keep the float on your money.
But I dont want to polute this thread any more with BOA stuff.
My Orginal statement was targeted towards the fact with GMAC lowering there rates they no longer beat out rates you can get from Citi,BOA or HSBC while keeping all your money local. that was more my point. |

LOL AAA membership is $19 first year then $29-39 a year depending on were you live and what promo you signed up via. I dont think that is a big fee to pay. |

I think we should put the to discussion bed Dolmar.
You asked who would use GMAC and I answered. I think we are both acting rationally and there is nothing lefting to discuss.

Look in the hot deals thread. Every 2-3 months someone will post a promo to join AAA for $20 bucks first year.
Here is one thread about 25% off renewal or first year of AAA membership
http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/messageview.php?catid=18&threadid=637303&highlight_key=y&keyword1=aaa
note this offer is expired now.
There were 3-4 other archived threads too. |

LOL, that thread states $17 off (the enrollment fee) which leaves $49 per year still left to pay. |

I don't have a car so no point in joining AAA....usually the rates are about $60, dolmar....anyway, the AAA is set up as a checking account, and i prefer the way the NEA is set up (as a savings account)...i figured Scott and Asdf would jump on with something nasty at me...i thought you guys were going to stop it, already....i already put out the white flag, so why do you guys keep getting on me? (hint: stop bugging me) I was just providing some obvious info...it's well know there are alot of FW'ers who opened the acct and are not members of the NEA.....If BOA really cared that much...don't you think they would ASK for the info right from the beginning?
And if you have "guilty conscience" and don't want to join AAA (and are not a teacher) you can always join defenders of wildlife or humane society for $25 a year and have the account without "guilt".....The rate tiers are a tad lower, but i suspect the AAA and NEA accounts will adjust to the same levels once their MBNA contracts end (which should be soon)....So all 30 to 50 affinity organization accounts will likely have the same rate/tier structure that you see on the "humane society" site right now.....Still an excellent rate for a Bank of America money market account..... |

Thanks for the info...i was under the impression that it was listed as a checking account in the online banking....that was from some of the posts i read in the "smoking hot boa" thread.....So, then i take it you have it linked to your checking with them, and can access it under "savings" at the atm machines? |

That was unecessary and inappropriate.

What are you talking about? I asked you to stop and you said you would. I have not communicated with you since and now you bring this up again.
Please stop trolling.
Please let it go Craig
let it go? gladly.
Now you start trolling completely unprovoked. How many more times are you going to lie just like you did on the E-Loan thread where you said at least dozens times you would stop posting and didn't. |

If you don't want me to comment on you, why did you call me out by name and call me nasty after you promised to stop.
I haven't talked to you since you agreed to stop trolling.
You are right, you are free to keep making lies all you want.

Craig you really need to lighten up, Not sure why you take this little messing around so serious. I have no problem with you and I thought we were just playing around, But if it is bothering you I will stop |

Yes. It is my savings account and appears that way at ATMs and on-line banking. I just changed my old MM savings to the AAA account and there is no discernible difference except that my statements call it a AAA account and give a special phone number for customer service on that account. |
