I guess everyone of you should receive your bills and see this referral once a while. I think it's hotter than using the promotional code for just $10 when applying Citi Dividend. However, Citi Diamond does give $100 worth of GC. I guess people should apply Citi Diamond by that promotional code.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This reward is only valid with this offer. The reward is issued for each approved account up to a maximum of 5 approved accounts. The rewards for each approved account are as follows:
Citi Platinum Select Card and Citi Cards for college Students will receive a $50 Statement Credit per approved account. Citi Diamond Preferred Rewards Card and Citi Premier Pass Card will receive 3,000 ThankYou Points per approved account. Citi Dividend Platinum Select Card will receive $25 Dividend Dollars per approved account.
Earn up to $300 Dividend Dollars in a calendar year. Citi Upromise Card will receive $50 in bonus college savings. Bonus Upromise contributions will be awarded only for applicants approved through this offer, and who are not currently Citi Upromise cardmembers. You must be a member of Upromise in order to receive any bonus Upromise Contributions. Bonus contributions will not count toward your annual 1% contribution cap of $300 from Citi. In order to qualify for this reward, each person you refer must verify your unique customer ID number, provided to them on the Citi?Cards Refer a Friend invitation page. In order to receive this reward, your friend must apply and be approved for the Citi?Card offer presented to them in the email you will forward on the following page. The reward(s) will post to your account 8-12 weeks from the date your friend is approved. Please allow 1-2 billing cycles from that time for the reward(s) to appear on your statement. Your account must be open and not in default to receive this credit. We are unable to provide you with information about who has been approved or denied credit, or the basis for that decision.
I signed up for this about 3 months ago and have since earned $50. It takes about 1.5 - 2 months for the credit to show up on your account. -edit- I have a citi platinum dividend account and have had the card for 2 years (if that matters at all).
How long has it taken for the recipient to receive the referral email? I filled out the referal form about 3 hours ago and the recipient still hasn't received it yet.
The same CS9 offer code here. I have a Citi Platinum Select card for students.
But... isn't this a referral scheme? I even imagined a scheme for splitting the referral bonuses with the referred ones. Well, I do not intend to use FW for finding friends to refer.
FYI, the referrals, as well as the applications, must be completed as of 1/31/06.

thanks, didn't realize that was possible. sounds like the best thing to do is to refer someone to the cards which get the $50 referral credit, and then convert the card to whichever rewards program is preferred.
but I'm still unsure about my original question, which is: If I have a Citi Dividends Card, do I still use CS9 as my promotional code?
I have electronic statements, so I never got a notice about this program.

Please, can you tell me more about how much time after you got the initial student card were you able to shift to Dividend?

TIACalled the day I got the card to convert (in Aug 2004 I think)
Originally had the Platinum Visa one and then the rep told me he'll be sending me a new MasterCard CC (came a week later I think)
Now, I would ask for a student's point of view: which "switch" from the plat student would be more advantageous, for relatively low card usage? I mean, heave you had the opportunity to choose again, would you choose to convert to the same Dividend ?

I'm trying to do this for a Dividends Platinum Select referral, but it keeps showing me a page for a College Students referral.
Is there another link where I can send a non-College referral?
has anyone tried referring themselves? cuz im a college student and i referred myself to see what the email says, and it actually offered any college cards, so i was wondering if i had signed up for my second card through my own referral instead of a straight normal application, would i have gotten the $50 statement reward?!
Op, please update the a new referal program. Up to $250 statement credits for approved referals.

The Citi Dividend Platinum Select?Card will receive $25 in Dividend Dollars per approved account.
The Citi Diamond Preferred?Rewards Card will receive 3000 bonus ThankYou Points per approved account.

For the people who want to refer themselves, it might be hard. Basically you need to have a card in order to refer somebody else the same card. If you put yourself for referal, you end up of applying the same card yourself. Some people might be lucky enough to get the same type of credit card offer, but most of us won't. Feel free to try, though.

I have the Citi Dividend for students, and want the MTVu student card. When I tried to do a referel, it just said the friend must complete the offer sent for "Citi cards for college students" which I believe both cards fall under. Do you think this will work? It doesnt say anything in the terms about it being a differnt person, just that the "friends" account must be approved.
Anyone had any sucess yet?
I'm worried to try it because I have friends I could get to refer me and split the money with if its not going to work.
