If you go through Ebates.com to get the 0%, 0 Fee Discover BT you will get a different & better deal than posted in the link previously listed here. Ebates.com will give you an additional $10-20 kickback in addition to $10 back from Discover plus the 0% ,0 BT Fee perks from Discover.. |

Alternately, you could apply through cardoffers.com, which offers a $40 signup bonus. And when I got my card a about a month ago I was offered a $20 first-purchase bonus (that was possibly a fluke). |

Invest $1.50 into the Sunday's local newspaper. I usually see 2 or 3 Citi/Chase such offers. Apply by phone. |

Hi markkundinger,
I'd looked at the Discover cc offer that was on cardoffers.com, but did not realize that there was $40 to be had by going through them until your post inspired me to go back & check on it. I only found info regarding the $40 on the page under the "Membership" tab. I wonder why they didn't make the $40 offer more prominently displayed on the home page. Oh well, I've already applied through Ebates, but thanks for pointing this out for the benefit of others in the future. |

I've updated the Quick Summary with my recent experiences with Advanta, Discover and HSBC applications.

any new updates? i'm looking for a no fee, 0% bt card for at least 12 months, but has some sort of introductory bonus (points, miles, gc, Cash Back, etc.) i'm thinking about making a large purchase, but don't like to front so much money, and would rather do a 0% balance transfer. TIA! |

GE Money added to QS
*0% APR for 12 months from the date the account is opened applies to Balance Transfers made using your GE Money Platinum MasterCard. Balance Transfers must be posted to your Account within 12 months from date the account is opened to qualify for this offer. A Transaction Fee for each Balance Transfer that posts to your Account will be charged equal to the greater of $5.00 or 3% of the amount of the Balance Transfer, but no more than $75.00.
No rewards program with this card and the other GE Money cards with rewards don't offer BT unless you get a targeted offer at home (at least I did a few months ago)
