I always have on me:
American Express Costco True Earnings (used mainly for eating out, monthly bills) AMEX Blue Cash (used for purchases, extended warranties, etc.) Citi Dividend Select Platinum (used ONLY to pay for gas & groceries) Discover Card Platinum (Just mainly sits there.Used for the 0% for life BT offer.) Chase Rewards Cash Plus (For when the citi rebate gets used up!) AMEX Platinum Business Cash Rebate Card AMEX Costco Business True Earnings Card Couple of bank check cards.
It's amazing I'm not in debt with all the cards I carry around. I wish I had something better than what I'm using to carry them around in.

Contrary to what my screen name suggest, I carry the following in my wallet:
WHATS IN MY WALLET: 1) PNC Bank ATM card : If I ever need cash (Rare, but just in case) I can use this. Although there are charges for using Non-PNC ATM's, most places around where I live have a PNC Atm. 2) Chase Cash Plus rewards Visa - 5% grocery, gas, Drugstore. For grocery, I shop Kroger or Super WalMart, and both seem to get 5% on this card 3) MBNA Worldpoints - 1 point for every $. The reward options is the best IMHO - you can get anything from debit-card to gift card to plane tickets to hotel reservations. 4) AMEX Blue - Gives me the highest CL. IF in case one of my cards utilization has reached around 30% or more, I use AMEX till the card is paid off in full at month-end. I try to keep my util under 30%
WHATS IN MY DRAWER: 1) Citi Diamond Preferred - I am using the 0% BT, so it has to stay in my drawer till my 12 months promo end and it is paid off. 2) Chase Amazon.com Visa - Worst card in terms of benifits. Unfortunately, I applied for this when I was not a FW'er and did not know much about CC. I only use it for Amazon purchases. 3) Social Security Card - NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER carry your SSN in wallet. |

I concur. If you do carry SSN, and if your wallet gets stolen, chances are, you may have to change your nickname from walletLess to identityLess |

DL citi 5/1 CU 1% card Disc 5% food 2bofa debit for KTC Disc plat for getting $50 cash at safeway employee disc card few coupons 2 visabuxx cards
Although i can't imagine why anyone would carry SSN card I think you're overexaggerating it's importance - if a thief gets your wallet with your SS card, they can get your number pretty easily. And the gov insists on printing birthdates, etc on DLs. |

Kinda funny that Capital One keeps on asking "What's in your Wallet?" Apparently, for most of us it isn't Capital One!
I carry MBNA Worldpoints as my default Discover for Restaurants Chase Rewards Plus for Everyday AMEX Blue for Costco

I was thinking the same thing!
I only carry AMEX Blue Cash for extended warranty. Plus, AMEX reimburses restocking fees! Link
In the drawer, Citi Diamond Preferred Rewards - I'd rather have AMEX extended warranty than Citi's 60-day price protection. MBNA Platinum Plus - big credit line and that's it. |

They were the first to give me a credit card about 10 years ago, the initial line was $500. That CL has not increased at all since |

Actually it does not. But I do keep front and back electronic copies of all my cards (uploaded to my email account). Having said that, I think I should get a lock.. Its just that the drawer has my other day-to-day things so I do not lock it. |

MBNA Cash Back (1% on everything) will use until there is a new Cash Back promo on all purchases - prefer this card to other 1% cards, because it shows temporary authorizations.
Citi Dividend (Grocery stores, drug stores) Citibank Driver's Edge (10% on gas for 3 month promo) Discover Restaurant ATM Cards (local bank and a bank that has ATM rebates)
Looking to add to my wallet: Costco True Earnings (For 2% travel/3% restaurant rebates & BVG) or Starwood(for BVG) Citibank Drivers Edge (promo 6% on everyday purchases for 12 month) MBNA Fidelity 1.5% Cash Back |

Go to the AMEX site, click on the search link, and type in bvg. Click on list cards that have BVG, and no "blue" cards are mentioned. If you can prove that info in inacurrate, please let me know. I will switch from Starwood to Blue. thanks |
