- Citi Dividend - use this for 90% of my purchases for the Cash Back
- Discover Restaurant - 5% back at restaurants, only place I use it
- American Express Blue Cash - rarely used
- MBNA Penn State Alumni - rarely used
- MBNA Merrill Lynch+ - If I plan on having to make mutliple payments on something, I use this because of the fixed 5.9% rate, but it's extremely rare that I do this.
- JC Penney classic - sometimes get extra discounts for using the card

I am totally supprised that nobody has mentioned two lifesavers that are always in my wallet:
1) A spare key to my car
2) Band-Aids
I probably have saved hundreds in locksmith fees alone by carrying that spare key... |

Driver's License AMEX Corporate Card AMEX Starwood Preferred Guest - Primary Card. Gets Starwood points which I used to always transfer to American Airlines pointers. However I have so many AA points now that I just keep the Starwood points so I can transfer as needed to top off other accounts. Chase United Mileage Plus Visa - Second Card. Got 20k miles with no first year annual fee. After the fee, I plan to either close or switch to a no fee card if Chase offers one. PNC ATM Card - Refused debit card due to access it provides without PIN to MY money. I know debit rules have changed, but back in the days it was very risky IMHO to have a debit card. Health Insurance Card My Company ID Card My Client Company's ID Card A NewEgg 1 Gig USB Drive that fits in my wallet (makes it just a little fat, just slightly thicker than a credit card) 50 bucks in cash for those lame parking garages that don't take credit (pretty much the only place I need cash now)
Additional credit cards I keep open but don't use (to not shrink my credit percentage: Citi American AAdvantage Bronze Card - I had the Platinum for a year due to no annual fee and 15k miles, but after the annual fee came due, I switched to the fee free card. Citi Premier Pass Card - Wife applied for this one (since all the other cards were in my name) for the $100 free gift card. No annual fee. Use for the "Virtual Card" option to make small purchases from unknown retailers online. Juniper USAirways Card - Could not pass up another 15k miles with no annual fee for two years. Had wife apply for this one, too since she needed to top off her account.
Yes, I am miles crazy. |

Citi Dividend for 5% everyday purchase. AMEX Fidelity Gold Card (free with Fidelity brokerage account), free Membership Rewards Options because I have a Blue card. I use this card for those big ticket items, like TV or camera, because of BVG and extended warranty. It is about 1% back. For anything else, I use MBNA Fido 1.5% card.
I plan to get some other specialty cards. Is the Discover restaurant card still available? |

CCs I carry:
1. AMEX True Earnings - for the 3% resturant rebate. 2. Citi Dividend AMEX - for gas/groceries/drug store purchases, 5% rebate. This one also works at Costco gas stations, so I get a double bonus, gasoline at the Costco price, plus a 5% rebate! 3. Citi Home Rebate MC - for 1% rebate applied to my home mortgage. 4. MBNA Timberland MC - for 1% rebate, good at all Timberland stores. (I like Timberland stuff ).
With all these good deals in my wallet, sometimes it's hard to decide which one to use! |

I'm still rebuilding my credit, so...
CC in wallet: BoA Financial Rewards (1% back -- I'm going to just use this for the BT deals...) Chase PerfectCard (1% automatic to each statement)
Enough cash for an emergency on the road (tow trucks don't take credit/check...they take cash) Library Card Sam's Club/Costco cards (The company has Sam's Club membership, but I'm with costco) GC's: Staples/Borders/WalMart(for sam's club)/starbucks/Giant and 2 checkcards to my main bank (for cash) and a big bank (like BoA -- Just in case) oh yeah! and one blank unsigned check.
UPDATE 9/22/06
CC in wallet: Chase PerfectCard (1% automatic to each statement) AMEX TrueEarnings (for Costco now that I have a membership...and for food purchases) Chase Business Credit Card (the one with the mostly 3% back on purchases...for me the clincher is for office supplies)
