Thanks for the Green guys... This used to be a YMMV deal and now I'm telling you where to score coupon to get the free $75, too bad some don't know their head from their big toe.

I got a similar mail (last Aug) after moving within NJ for $100 for a checking account PLUS $25 for a MM/saving account.
The code was non-transferable and required giving the cust rep the coupon so it was only good for B&M. I combined it with the keep the change promotion, pretty good for a $1200 deposit.
Can this be combine with $25 referal program? Thanks.

Hmm, just a few hours ago, I walked into my local BofA branch with the printed out PDF of this coupon to open an account.
The CSR was a little bit baffled, but decided he'd roll with it. Asked me where I got it, and I said "a friend photocopied it". Near the end of the process, he asked me who referred me, so I quickly thought of the name of a friend that had a BofA account. He said he wanted to know for the referral.
Either he was just confused about the offer, or maybe he was referring to a refer a friend deal going on for another week. But it couldn't hurt to say you were referred by a friend with a BofA account, they might get $25.
And if you don't know anyone, you can always say Mark Kundinger in San Diego referred you

I opened my account on Feb 15 and have still not got the check. When I went to the branch where I opened the account they referred me to the 800 customer service number. When I called the 800 number they mentioned that I should wait till end of May because the promotion says 90 days after account opening and that I should give additional 2 weeks for delivery. I wanted to make sure if the offer code had been entered properly but was told only the branch people can see the actual offer code they entered during signup.
Is anybody waiting for the check?

Incidentally, I think I may have stumbled across a very optimal order to daisy-chain these offers at the current moment for a total non-customer:
1) Found a link for a $25 bonus for opening a regular savings (it comes and goes, L=here it is]http://www.fatwallet.com/t/52/612189/[/L])
2) Wander into a branch with the $75 coupon to set up a myaccess checking.
3) Arrange direct deposits via paypal or whatever to avoid the fee. Consider doing $25 deposits (see next).
4) If you don't like the idea of earning poor interest in regular savings, reduce the amount in there, consider setting up a scheduled transfer monthly from savings into it to avoid the minimum balance fee. Either do $25 to avoid the saving min bal fee, or do $100 to get the $15 promo. (must maintain transfers for six months apparently... remember to transfer the money back out to somewhere high-yield)
5) Get a Keep The Change Debit card, and exploit it with a bunch of 1 cent or $1.01 transactions in the first 3 months. Leave both checking and savings open for a year (with the transfer money "washing" through) to get the bonus.
6) At your leisure, sign up for the Power Rewards Visa, get both the gift certificate and the 0% for six months... and if you're a big spender, the 2% Cash Back is nice too.
7) Also at your leisure, consider signing up for additional Myaccess checkings with for a $50 cash back. Unless you can hook these up for additional KTC exploits, you may want to consider close and reopen every few months.
The biggest downside is keeping the checking and savings accounts active for a whole year to get the KTC match, at least if you wanted to bail out quickly.
edit: added link for $25 savings thread when it resurfaced.

Thanks for your tutorial. So are you saying BOA will only pull one hard inquiry for opening multiple accounts with them? Thanks.
PS: is the Power Rewards Visa 2% still available? I saw someone mentioned that option is gone.

I don't know about the credit inquiries, as I don't have visibility across all three bureaus. But I think they pulled at least one, since the CSR offered me a credit card three times in the branch.
Power Rewards is still around, the 2% is only if you redeem 2 gillion points at once:
Thanks OP. I was able to get in on this. Got the $75.

Tried the printout at my local branch. Doesn't work, the manager needed the original coupon.
However, there's no this coupon in postoffice's moving kit (i am in NY). Who could kindly send me an original coupon? To thank you for mailing, I'll give you a 15off50 Staples coupon or $5 Amazon gift certificate if you want.
Please PM me, thanks.

Dude. Why would you want to jump through hoops to get $75 for opening a checking account when there's a perfectly valid offer for $100 for the same thing?
And another $25 if you open a savings account at the same time?

For what it's worth, I did get the $75 check today from using the scanned copy of the mailer. BofA also wished me that everything my move had gone well .
But again, the value of this offer is made obsolete by the $100 offer here.
