Thanks OP! Instant approval with $6700 CL.

Note to self: Remember to close my Charles Schwab Visa card so that 180 days later I can qualify for the next round of something similar to this.

Some of you have a hard time reading. Just ignore the 180-day provision and apply anyway, what have you got to lose except a few credit score points? I got 4 GC's and an iPod shuffle last year on 5 seperate cards, so do the calendar math and you can see it doesn't matter. All of the promos had the 180-day terms, but they haven't enforced it (for me) so far.

Congratulations, your application for a Charles Schwab Bank VisaŽ credit card has been approved with a $2600 credit line! You will receive your credit card within seven to 10 days and the Welcome Package in 10 - 14 days at the address you provided.

What number did you call? I was declined. I have only 2 MBNA cards.

thanks OP

Some of you are saying you were denied on account of a previous $100-GC deal, but some say you've been approved in spite of it. Wish everyone had said whether they were applying online or by phone, as that might conceivably make a difference.

Also I'm wondering, perhaps that 180-day stipulation governs whether you'll get the new GC or not (rather than whether you get the card itself). Guess there's no way to know except to wait and see. (Obviously we do NOT want to call them and ask about this!)

anyone know the deadline for this promotion? thx!

If i know Citi, and I do, I will either be REJECTED or get a pitifully low credit limit if they approve me because i have $90k out at 0% with a small income.

EDIT. If its with MBNA, i stand a better chance. they used to give me a separate "line of credit" about equal to my card for years untill I finally cancelled it. (I dont think they ever offered 0% on it and it was hurting me getting a CITI card with the 1-5% rebate)

I have been declined, how can I argue about it? Can anyone help me? Also, what is the phone number for argue?
Thanks a lot

Approved online. Even used my school address and not home address. Higher limit than the last schawb card too.

$5800 , $5000 last time. Probably will make sense to close the other and combine limits after I receive statement credit.

Thanks OP!

The denials are for the card itself, not the promo, but they may take a look at your history and deny for whatever reason (too many cards, maxed limits, credit probs, whatever). Folks in prior threads have been approved by calling MBNA to move credit lines around if they got denied for multiple cards with them.
So the 180-day provision *should* only affect whether you get the $100, but as I said they do not seem to be enforcing it.

So, has anyone that did multiple Schwab promos last year not received one or more of them? I got the promo for every card within 2-3 weeks of first purchase. All of my apps were done online.
