I've seen a couple of warnings about getting the Citi Professional card vs the Consumer card, but I havent seen any concrete reasons to avoid the pro card. Citi rep told me that they don't track spending and you can use it for personal spending. Only requirement is that you are employed.
So what are the real differences? I'm sure it is advantageous to Citi to have it be a pro card, or they wouldn't do such an strong upsell. What do they gain?
Thanks,
Ico

i just called the csr. twice even. both claim that the $0 liability applies to *all* citi cards, regardless of business or personal. not sure who to believe. none of them can answer what specific consumer rights don't apply to this card. it appears to be buyer beware. but the rewards seem to be pretty good
oh, and i think it is only 3 points at restaurants

does anyone on this forum know what rights don't apply? is it the $0 liability? are there others? and for those rights that are "lost", what do businesses do to protect themselves?

Read the back of your CC statement or the T&Cs of the card.
Not only are there differences in the "0% liability" between business and personal cards (mostly relating to employee misuse), the chargeback/dispute rights may differ if you are unsatisfied with a product.
