apply.citicards.com

Offer code: Z1E1 Expires 8/15/06

Or call: 1-800-492-2015

Offer was in May 15th US News & World reports. Page #33.

After entering the code, these were the terms below for the card. It didn't mention $100 gift card or any bonus point.

• 0.00% APR on Balance Transfers until 06/01/2007§, then just 13.74%.
• Get the purchasing power you need.
• Online services, including account management, statements, unbilled activity, and faster payments.

Can anyone explain to me how the PremierPass points may vary - if at all - from the Thank You points earned by all sorts of other Citi cards?

At the citi card site, there's a link to a "premier pass-elite level" that gives 15,000 points. There are more details there. It sounds like these are Thank You Points.

I posted a scan for a similar offer (with exp. date of 5/31) at the end of this thread

Elite has a $75 annual fee. It's a better card overall, but some people don't like annual fees.

Any way around the fee?

Yes. Convert or cancell the card after you recive the bonus. If you want to use the card w/o a fee then get the non-elite level.

Do you know when the $75 annual fee is billed to the account?

Do they give you cheque for BT?

Has any one applied and done this so far?

I have received my card but not sure if BT will be considered as cash advance?

Usually Citi sends blank BT checks in an seperate envelope about a week after you receive your card. This has been my experience for all my Citi 0% offers.

You can also initiate a BT from their website once you register your card.

Okay, like a dope I requested a bt before I got the card. Is there a time limit on the $100 bonus? I'm hoping I can still get it after I pay off the bt in a year.

Yes you can do it anytime, Why don't you charge 50 cents and get the bonus $50 GC during BT Period. I did that couple of months ago with my professional card. I BT and then I charge 50 cents to get $100 GC after my first statement.

Just IMHO, this card is not worth to BT big amount as it didn't report your credit limit on the CR. It only shows your Balances on CR (hurt your score badly). So I would suggest once you recieved this card and get all the bonuses and stuf, call citi and convert it to any other card which reports your Credit Limit as well on CR. The CSR usually told you that you might not get BT (0%) on new card but I did it anyway twice and I am using 0% BT on new converted cards.

I have this card. They had the same promotion around the same time last year.

In reality, I got 11,000 points, because they gave me an additional 1,000 points for activating the card.

FYI, I think they have some set time frame in a month when they bulk send products that people redeemed using ThankYou points. So if you are in rush to get GC, for example, you might not get it in time. On the positive side, I've never had situation where GC didn't eventually get to me in few weeks.

I also have a reward card from Chase. They are way faster in sending the reward after redeeming.

I think it's too late to act on this info. I have already requested cheque to be made of the exact amount and sent to me. I used almost all of the credit they offered me for BT.
Where do I see if it will hurt my score or not?
Thanks.

I don't have 0% on purchases, only on bt.

Yeah it seems like it's too late to act but I beleive you can pay off as soon as you get your statement and then convert it to another card but then I am not sure whether they offer you the same BT offer or not. They usually do.

Thanks for the heads up, I will try to consolidate with my dividend.

How long does it take to get approval? I applied and plan on buying tickets soon.

Thanks OP. After my first completed month my points posted.
