Maybe this would be a good card for someone to get who is looking to start taking advantage of Billpay. Get $50 off the bat and with no attractive BT you could start using the card right away for billpay.
Saw the same offer, when I logged off from bofa. Frankly not a very attractive offer. Great for those planning to get this card. But otherwise not worth the inquiry on the credit report.

Good if someone was planning an app-a-rama anyway.

i have this card and like it. we use it for daily purchases and then BT off this card to ones that give the 0% offers. i've racked up a lot of points that i'll be using for vacation this winter.

Interesting, just for a data point could you give us an approximate average $/point equivalent value you are getting out of this card? Also, what cash/rewards you are redeeming to get that value?
Thanks, I'm always looking for a better spending card. I'm going to add this to my next *rama for BillPay but I hadn't planned on using it for purchases.
I have MBNA Quantom card with worldpoints. I have accumulated 35000 points. Infact it should be 35001 points for the statement just ended. But, when I tried to redeem points, it shows I have just 34999 and I can redeem only for a maximumof 25000 points. When I called MBNA, the CSR was also surprised why it is like that. I feel the system is cooked up to not let pass 35000 points. The CSR agreed. She said charge a little more and wait for the points to cross 35000 points to redeem for 350 bucks. Anyone had this problem?.
