The way the text reads looks like you may have to have a checking account.
"The annual percentage yield (APY) for Regular Savings accounts is 0.50% on all balances. This APY is accurate as of 5/24/2006 and may change after this date and after the account is opened." That's disgusting.
Considering it took them 6 months to close my checking account, this isn't worth my time. Otherwise it's a good find.
Does anybody know if there will be a hard pull on credit for even existing customers?
Thanks

There is an option to fund the savings account with a credit card. Anybody has experience depositing money with credit cards? The last time I use my visa card to fund a savings account, I was not charged any cash advance fee. Does anybody have similar experience?
I has this card with a large credit limit with 0% for purchases...

Very likely a hard pull, there was for me.
Also, I funded a BofA Checking and Savings with a credit card a couple weeks ago. Both were flagged as purchases on my MBNA card. They limit the amount you can fund with CC, for me it was $1000 for checking and $100 for savings.
