Regardless, Federal law limits your liability to $50.
This is one of the major advantages of carrying a credit card over cash. Steal my wallet with $500 in it I'm almost certainly down $500. Steal my wallet with $20,000 of available credit and I'm thinking what a pain it is to have to get my driver's license reissued. Perhaps how the wallet was a birthday present. Oh right, I have to call the issuers. The thief will be much happier too, so it's win win.
WalStMonky, thanks very much for the info. The link is zero liability terms for small business card. It seems that this particular card does have zero liability.
* Zero Liability does not apply to MasterCard-branded cards issued
* to an entity other than a natural person or primarily for business, commercial, or agricultural purposes, except the following card programs for small businesses: o Debit MasterCard BusinessCard® Card o MasterCard BusinessCard® Card o MasterCard Executive BusinessCard® Card o MasterCard® Professional Card o MasterCard® Small Business Multi Card * outside of the U.S. region, or * if a PIN is used as the cardholder verification method for the unauthorized transaction(s). |

I too have been getting hounded by Chase for this card. The send me a few applications a month for it and after a while it's starting to wear on me to think about applying. I already have one Chase card with $1500 limit and if that's what I'm looking at getting again, they can forget it. zhiyi, do you mind sharing your limit? I'm not really in need of a card, but I'm looking for something to help pad my credit pillow and hopefully they can compete with my AMEX at $10k. And I'm thinking since it's a business card, they might be willing to pump up the limit a bit more. |

The card does not set a spending limit, but it has a limit on revoving balance (the balance that you carry and did not pay full). I got a limit of 20k. Hope it helps. |

Yeah that helps. If I could get a TL like that, it would really help me boost my total available credit. Maybe I will go after this card after all.
The deal breaker though might be that it doesnt report to personal reports. I seem to read mixed reviews with some having business type cards report and others not having them report. |

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew where the GUIDE TO BENEFITS is lised on their website? I went through about 35 pages of the search results on their site and came up with nothing. The only thing that is keeping me from applying for this card is the Extended warranty benefit that my AMEX offers. If the Chase Professional offers the extended warranty for 1 year, i'm in... |

Applied for one and got the card a week later, and I don't have a business. This is a good complement to my Chase Freedom card which covers Cash Back for the stuff that the Professional doesn't cover, like fast food and supermarkets. |

TIA |

TIAMy credit line is pretty good I guess. I received some mailing saying that I was preapproved through some website, but I just went to chase's main website to sign up. No balance transfers. |

Do fast food establishments not qualify as restaurants under the Chase Professional Card? |

I got the card few months ago from a pre-approved mail offer. Since then, I keep receiving their pre-approved offers every 2 to 3 weeks for this card, even though I've got it already! Is it normal for Chase Professional? My shredder is not too happy about it... |
