This will be pretty sweet with my MtvU card. I've seen Upromise mentioned from time to time but never really checked it out until now. Worth the time, for free money.
I haven't figured out how to view the discounts of restuarants after I search for them, however. It keeps telling me to log in to view them, even though I am already logged in. It then asks me to register a card with them, when I already have 4 registered. Any ideas?
EDIT: It may be because I just added cards yesterday. Does it take a few for them to become registered?
This sounds like a really nice deal if you happen to hit it right. I decided when I signed up for Upromise that I wouldn't artificially change my spending habits otherwise I would likely end up spending more than I would actually save. I have 3 high use credit cards (added family members) and a grocery ID linked and in four months I've earned a whopping $.20.
I guess it is a good thing I have no kids yet.

Is this the same program as other idine programs such as Delta, AA, etc.?
Delta has a 25th Anniversary 25,000 miles bonus after dining 25x spending $25 each dine til end of December 2006. Text
Since idine tracks program by cc registered in each program, I like to register only one credit card per program. In fact if you try to register the same credit card in more than one program, it won't let you.
I haven't tried it but you could participate in more than one program, eg. the Upromise and Delta, by using the respective credit cards when you dine. So if I'm spending a lot more than $25, I may want the 5% instead.
In our location, the restaurant choices are rather poor. It might be hard to dine 25x at those restaurants.
One additional note on the Delta promotion: "Miles will be awarded based only on the first $600 you spend per restaurant, per month. Some restaurants offer mileage awards only on certain days of the week or times of the day." I would check online for the dates and times bonus points are awarded. Also you can double this promotion with the "Double miles on everything" ongoing with Delta skymiles cc til 8/31. Also, you do receive the normal bonus w/idine in addition to the other bonuses.

Idine is now the RewardsNetwork, which is what upromise uses.
There are signup bonuses $3-$6 out there for people who have not signed up before.

You can register the same card with any of the companies in RewardsNetwork (idine), I have 3 of my cards registered each with Delta, UA and some other. So it should work
