anyone get instant approve?

Two questions:

1) Is the 75K yearly point limit per "card account" or thank-you point account?

2) Do the bonus 10K points count against the 75K point limit in the first year?

yes. I applied 3 citi cards yesterday. and got instant approves for both this one and Citi Dividend AMEX Card.. but no instant approve for the citi PremierPass, which comes with $100 GC. Don't want to call CSR, pretty sure she/he will throw 2 new cards every 6 monthes excuse..
I just wonder does anyone here get >2 instant approves on new citi card apps in the same day..is there really programmed limit in that online approve system?

I just used the code and did not see the gift card and double points listed? Where should I be seeing this before I apply?

I had instant approval--$9000 credit limit, but am unsure if I got the 2%. I'll have to call when I get the card.

It is my understanding that Citi allows for 2 apps within 60 days, and will not budge on this (except perhaps for partnered cards.) If what I've read here and on other forums is correct, you will be denied the 3rd card, and they won't reconsider.

EDIT: Please update if you do actually get the 3rd card...

i already have 4 citi cards, but two of them are student cards:
student dividend MC
student mtvU MC
Dividend Visa
Diamond Preferred AMEX

should i still apply?? i mean, what are the chances that i'll be approve. i don't want anymore unecessary inquiries.

They're pretty fast with posting the bonus thank you points. i got my 10,000 points for my Diamond Preferred AMEX right after the first statement.
