Guessing this will only work in states listed below. Quote taken from their online direct banking site, presumes they only offer online banking to residents of states where they have no physical presence? AK, CO, ID, IN, KY, ME, MI, NY, OH, OR, UT, VT, or WA.

Might be worth opening up a keybank platinum card instad of doing DD. It looks like you can earn 5% Cash Back for all purchases for the first three months. In addition, I believe they offer 0% BT for 12 months ($75 max).

I used some random address and phone number in NY, but put in my California address as the "mailing address". Hopefully this will work out for me.

Watch out for this offer, may not be worth 25$ a month.Go to the original link in the OP, and you'll find that those minimum balance requirements only apply to non-free checking accounts.

Does anybody knows from which Credit Agency Key Bank (in NY) pulls the credit report? I have already 10+ inqueries on Equifax, but none on the others. So depending on that I would like to try it
