This guy I called doesn't know anything about an offer code or $50 credit or the 6 points/everyday purchase dollar. He said he'll just run it and I should call customer service to check it out.

I didn't notice this until now, but for the initial $50 bonus, it says they give you 6,000 points--which would mean that this isn't really any better than other 5% rewards cards. However, if you're close to your yearly cap it's another $600 in potential earnings, and a $50 bonus....

any proof you dont have in writing is worthless, if you can fax proof into our corr. dept they will honor that but if you dont have that you are in a he said she said situation. and your gonna loose.

Given the hassles people are having, I think I'll pass and stick with my Citi Driver's Edge Card that also gives 6% back for 12 months and a $40 bonus from cardoffers.com.
