Hi Have anybody had the same experience with True Credit? I tried to sign up online with WalMart discount, but total comes up as $13.70 instead of $11.21. CR is useless, they said it is a tax in my state(MN). I know there is no taxes in MN for financial services. Thanks |

I just canceled AMEX CreditSecure. I found that it did a poor job estimating my credit scores. My Experian score was 75 points higher when I got it directly from Experian then it was when I got the Experian estimate from CreditSecure. Despite significant events, I also found that my CreditSecure scores never changed one time in the 5 or so months I had the program. |

Thanks this is pretty common. happened to me the first month, and it was correct the second. i didn't do a thing, and i didn't worry about it. others have called to successfully correct the charge. |

TrueCredit shows all soft pulls done by banks on mine It does for me too. My bank does soft pulls every 6 months for my HELOC, so I know it is a soft pull. It only shows up on Equifax for some reason. If it helps. |

I just got an auto loan and the number they told me from Experian was about 50 points lower than the number I got from CreditSecure on the same day. So the next day I check again, and the numbers from CreditSecure are the same. Actually for the 3 months I've had the service my score hasn't changed at all from all three, even though I have been using my credit. |

I've searched for this, but didn't find an answer...when you login to TrueCredit and view your 3 in 1 credit report, does this generate a soft pull or do I have to do something else? Also, how do check soft pulls from TrueCredit. Thanks for any clarification. |

Also, how do check soft pulls from TrueCredit. Thanks for any clarification. 1. Does it generate a soft pull? Yes it does. But to generate one each day, you need to click on "Update report" link at least 24 hrs and 1 minute after your previous update, and follow the steps.
2. How do I check for soft pulls? Each CRA is different. Here: http://www.fatwallet.com/t/52/742598/10981972#m10981972. Read section II of that message. |

I know AUs are taboo, but I have a question. I allowed myself to become an AU on my wifes account. Now the AU is reported on my CR. I just recently had the AU removed with the creditor, but how does the AU get removed from my CR...does it: 1. remove itself after a certain time? 2. Do i have to file a dispute. If someone knows how could let me know, that would be great...thanks. |

I called to cancel creditsecure and the lady offered me $24 off if I paid for the full year upfront...works to $9.99 per month. I thought it was worthwhile for those blanked out of PM123 for any reason. |

If you have Ameritrade a/c, mail them that you are concerned about their recent security breach and ask them what are they doing to protect your interests. They will give you a one year free credit monitoring service.. I tried it successfully. |

Do any of the credit monitoring services allow you to get automatic alerts whenever your balance changes above a certain amount? I could have sworn that someone said you could do it with Creditsecure, but now that I'm signed up I can't figure it out. |

I just got a free year of Trucredit from Lasalle bank. Apparently someone took home a laptop with my SSN on it, even though they don't believe anything was lost. Saves me from paying AMEX now. |

I tried it successfully. Thanks DreamR2I. I emailed them and they said they are sending out a packet for Triple Alert SM credit monitoring. |
