What if you cancelled now and try to sign up again? Wouldn't you be ineligible for the 30-day free trial and thus the billing would start immediately?

Thanks

That seems like a good idea. I'll call and ask them what happens.
I bought a one year subscription to myFICO.com and with it you get two included credit reports to use at your discretion, although I think the first one comes automatically, leaving you with one left. So no, no daily pulls, and lately it has been extremely slow in updating me with new fico scores, taking as long as 2 months to update, when I know from doing daily pulls with privacy matters, that my score should have changed. Still worth it though in my opinion. I think it was about $80 for the year.
This is what my employer offers, and I couldn't find anything on the company in the forums. It doesn't say anything about daily pulls, which seems like the main thing people look for.

Data point to report, FWIW: I did some 0% investing a year ago and pulled out about $65K in 0% money from three cards: a USAA Mastercard, Chase Sony Visa and a Discover. According to WAMU, My score dropped from 740 to 660 when I did that, prolly because utilization went >80% on all three cards. Score climbed slowly from Mar07-Jan08 from 660ish to about 685.
I paid the cards off in jan08, and WAMU now tells me that my score is 796. I haven't changed anything else in that time - no loan payoffs or other change in status - so that's a 110 point jump just for paying off the three 0% loans. Pretty radical change....

AMEX CS has no clue (don't ask them), just cancel. When I signed back up it still took about 1 week to get to pull again but it didn't take 30 days.

I think I heard WAMU's score isn't the most accurate for some reason. What's confusing me is why you jumped from 740 -> 796 if nothing has changed except your accounts got a year older?

I enrolled 9/4 in CreditCheckTotal. When I tried enrolling on 8/4, I could not get this product due to Experian freeze. I have temporarily lifted the freeze and was able to enroll.
I called 866-506-7894 to try and cancel/re-enroll in the Credit Check Total product to gain ability of immediate daily pulls. Unfortunately, it is not possible for the Credit Check Total program - you have to wait the obligatory 7-9 days before you can do daily pulls.
During the same call, I asked if there were any promotions currently available... rep said for 3 months, I could get Credit Check Total for $19.95 rather than $29.95....

According to WAMU, they pull the information from TU. I signed up for credit karma to find my score much lower than WAMU's "Bankcard Industry Option FICO score". Out of curiosity, I pulled my credit report from TU. My WAMU credit card (which was opened 2+ years ago) wasn't even on my TU report. Now I know why my credit karma score (which should be closer to the actual FICO score) is that much lower given that the only other card I have was opened this year. How odd...

How does the Citi product stack up against the competition? I'm thinking about signing up, as the price seems solid...but am I missing out on much going with them? Overall, it sounds like you are happy with it.

I was double billed for Credit Secure in February. Found a 23.98 charge on my account. The rep I spoke with says it is a known error, and may have affected others.

Ditto here, two $11.99 were already posted. Judging from my current available CL, Credit Secure apparently also placed two holds of $11.99 (the Am Ex card was not used otherwise). Now, whether posted or not, my available CL is reduced by a total of $47, or approximately 4 x $11.99. Go figure...

For me, this is the second time in a year this has happened. I have found it a hassle to dispute their errors. Compensation?

Just found AT&T Wireless gave me a hard inquiry on 9/30 last year, but I didn't do anything, I have been an At&T customer for over 4 years and never late for the payment. Does anybody know the reason or how to dispute? Would it affect my credit score? Thanks.

I'm not sure but that may be standard protocol in the cell phone industry to do hard inquiry whenever you sign up for a contract

He stated that he has been a customer for over 4 years, and did not indicate that he signed up for a new contract around 09/30/2008.

I've been pulling reports daily with both CreditKarma and ChaseIDProtection.com -- but only CreditKarma is showing up on my TransUnion report. Shouldn't ChaseIDProtection be showing up there too? I'm trying for some TU bumpage, but having a hard time since half the programs I signed up for require me to wait for them to mail me a pin (still waiting...), or else don't allow daily pulls. Advice?! Thanks
