I went to the former wamu branch that had the OCcasio Design. it felt so weird that i was standing where the island was and the teller counted me the money. i was so use to the machine. Whoa it felt weird being in the branch. it reminded me of the grumpy old man commercial. |

ThursdaysChild said:mhudson said:Mine went from .75 to .50 in the last few days. Where besides the last statement can I find the APY? Click on the account (in this case online savings) and then on the left hand bar/sidebar there should be an "about this account", in the details it shows the apy. Strangely, mine is still .75 (don't tell wamu ) |

So I just called. Now on top of the rate being lower they are talking about a montly fee if the balance is lower than 10,000. That is annoying. I guess I will just close the account. |

Chase Premier is grandfathered in when my Wamu E-savings converted to. Confirmed with Chase several times as well as their CSR supervisor, Monica. Plus, also stopped by my local branch to confirm this fact. After knowing all these facts, I'm starting to consolidated all my Wamu and Chase account. Slowly closing them all. I do not want to deal with Chase. |

This description of the transition from Wamu Online Savings to Chase Premier Savings coincides with the change of terms I received a few months back: The WaMu Online Savings account will be converted to a Chase Premier Savings account, with the monthly fee “waived at this time”. I'll be watching my statements for future changes but no sign of AF so far. |

If you want to discuss account conversion or converted accounts, please post in the following thread: http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/finance/920448 If folks with Chase accounts continue to post in this thread, it will be more confusing. |
