This is just a "translation" of the bonus miles discussed in this FW thread into "cash/gift certificate language". Below is a repost of my ibankdesign message that explains the conversion and other possible options.

"""
IBD note: You get 20,000 AA miles after spending $750 with this card within first 4 months. If you have spent $10,000 within the first year, you will get additional 10,000 AA bonus miles plus 10,000 regular AA miles via AA program. If you do not want to spend $10,000 with this card, you can spend just $66 more to get 66 AA miles and, then, exchange miles for a $150 Crutchfield Electronics gift card (two $75 card for 10,033 AA miles each as of 6/8/7) via Points.com. However, if you spend $10,000 with this card and get totally 40,000 miles, you can exchange the miles for

- $300 Crutchfield Electronics gift card (you will need to spend $130 to accumulate totally 40,130 AA for an exchange as of 6/8/7)

or

- $250 GiftCertificates.com gift card (37,305 AA miles as of 6/8/7)

or

- $250 BestBuy gift card (39,388 AA miles as of 6/8/7)

via Points.com

I hope that I'm posting this on the right place. I have not received my free flight from Spirit Airlines in the form of a coupon via e-mail that was promised to me when I responded to an offer regarding the Free Spirit Master card. The link to this offer is still active (but expired) at the following: http://www.spiritair.com/welcome.aspx?pg=fspromotions&promo=OF2 This offer stated that if I registered for this particular offer, signed up and received a Free Spirit Mastercard, and made $100 worth of purchases by June 11th, I would receive via email a coupon that could be exchanged for a round trip ticket. This was supposed to be sent to me by August 15th. I've spent countless hours calling both the number on my Free Spirit Mastercard as well as Spirit Airlines, but whomever I call, I'm told to call the other.

What recourse do I when a company does not complete their end of a promotional offer like this even after numerous attemptes to correct it? Here is the original offer:

Offer Terms and Conditions * This offer is for select Sprit Airlines subscribers and is not transferable. In order to qualify for this promotion, an applicant must register for the promotion, apply and be approved for the FREE SPIRIT MasterCard between March 14, 2007 and April 7, 2007, and make purchases on this FREE SPIRIT MasterCard of $100 or more by June 8, 2007. Free flight will come in the form of a coupon via e-mail and is valid for one passenger for roundtrip travel between Detroit and Atlantic City, Boston, Fort Lauderdale, Myrtle Beach, New York (LaGuardia), Orlando, Tampa, and Washington, DC (Reagan) or Fort Lauderdale and Cancun, Grand Cayman, Kingston, Montego Bay, Nassau, Punta Cana, San Juan, Santo Domingo, Detroit, and New York (LaGuardia). Free flight must be booked on spiritair.com by 9/30/07 and is good for travel only between 8/15/07 and 11/15/07. A 7-day advance booking requirement applies. Availability during holiday periods may be difficult. Travel is coach class and availability is capacity controlled. Seats for free trip may not be available on all flights if the available seats have already been booked. Taxes and fees are the responsibility of the coupon holder. Once ticketed there are no changes permitted. Other restrictions may apply. Offer subject to change. Offer limited to new card members only.

Sorry if I sound like an idiot, but is there anything special I have to do to ask for these sign-up bonuses, or is it all automatic?

Has anyone gotten the GM card with the sole-proprieter, $0/0 year input? Their web application looks a little more detailed than the other business cards I have signed up for recently.

Get $100 (=10,000 miles) with a Freedom Plus card from Chase

According to a FlyerTalk, the conversion rate from Freedom card miles to CashBack is $0.01 per mile. So... 10,000 miles can be exchanged for a $100 Cash Back credit. I am not very familiar with Freedom card reward structure but the following info about Freedom Plus reward program is consistent with the FlyerTalk Post.

Earn Rewards Fast Triple Miles, Triple points, or 3% Cash Back earned in the 6 categories where you spend the most each month-15 categories in all. 1 mile, 1 point, or 1% Cash Back on all other purchases. No Annual Fee for the first year

Bonus terms:

Recieve 10,000 miles after your first purchase!1

You will receive 10,000 bonus miles with this bonus offer. Please allow 6 to 8 weeks after your first purchase/first use of the card for bonus miles to post to your account. First purchase/first use includes purchases, balance transfers, or any checks that are used to access your account, and excludes cash advances. This one-time bonus offer is valid only for first-time cardmembers with new accounts. Existing cardmembers/accounts are not eligible for this bonus offer.

Important info about the Miles program!

There is a $30 yearly Program fee, which will be waived the first year.
