leakwallet said:Sold out when i finally was able to load the page... This always happens. Was anyone able to get tickets? They said there would be a 1000 and their stupid servers overloaded as usual. To the guy that was inquiring about the seats, if the free seats aren't good enough for you, I'll take them off your hands. LOL |

Can't be worse than the $10 ones - for those I got the last row in the corner. So the free ones have to at least be as good as the $10 one |

I know the tickets for the US Open have been sold out for a while. I tried to pay for seats a while back and they didn't have any. Maybe you'll have to contact AMEX. |

I got to a page where they made me enter my AMEX card # (for verif.), my email, and some randomly generated code I had to re-enter (similar to ticketmaster's set up wen purchasing). As soon as I submitted, I got thrown to the "No more tickets" page. I assume some people got an actual email with a code to get the free tickets to 9/4/06 matches? |

ok, steps i have taken to try to get the password or code to work.
1. I got the email, with the one time use code a. Tried using it as pasword ( No Go) b. Used AMEX Cus Support number as pasword (no go) , ths was based on the recomendation of AMEX Cus Support.
2. Called AMEX, I am Gold Member, the ocde doesnt work. THey had no clue about this promotion. Transfered to Ticket Broker. REcomended try using AMEX Number as Password, no go. They then told me to call Ticketmaster, after 10 min on the phone, a Ticketmaster person still had no clue what I was talking about. Argued for a while, they then told me to call AMEX back. Honestly I am really pissed off at AMEX now. I know its free tickets, so you cant complain about free, but if they hype it up to promote it and then we cant use it.. arrgg..
i'll call AMEX again today. |

Must have sold out while you were typing. If successful, you'd have gotten the code afetr you pressed submit - both in the web browser and in email. |

Internet died at work for websites, but I managed to remote desktop over and grab 2 tickets RIGHT before it ran out (thank god AMEX's claim form doesn't need the flash plugin). I wanted to get 4 (on me and my mom's accounts-she was standing next to me so it's legit) but since it had taken so long for me to get to the server they were out 10 seconds later when I tried to get another 2.
And now this problem...*sigh* |

I did get my code... but when I tried it on ticketmaster, it said that there were no more tickets left... I called ticketmaster and explained the situation and the person said to call back in 20 minutes... i guess I'm not the only one with the problem, thankfully... i was starting to cuss AMEX for giving out too many codes |
