I challenge ANYONE to show me a 1)current, 2)cash-back, (not points) 3)no cap on rewards, credit card that is a better option **for "everything else" purchases.**

I think the AMEX Platinum Business Card is better for big spenders.
0-20k .5%
20k+ 2.5%

On 70k spending AMEX Platinum would return $1350 (or 1.93%)
whereas AMEX Blue on 70k spending (10k everyday - (this is being generous), 60k non everyday) would return $1305 (or 1.86%)

The difference is even greater if you're not so generous on the everyday spending like I was.

AMEX Platinum uses a calendar year cycle, so once January hits I'm switching from Blue to Platinum.

Thoughts????

With the demise of the Power Rewards Card from BoA, I too am looking for an uncapped cash rebate card.

I am unsure about AMEX's enforcement of the "personal family or household purposes" rule. That makes me nervous since the AMEX Blue Cash reward pays out only at the end of the year.

Any other uncapped cash rebate cards that is better than this new uncapped Blue Cash?

What card are you looking at? Platinum Buiness Cash Rebate says the tiers are:
0 15000 2.5%
15000+ 1%

Cash Rebate: There is no limit to the amount of cash rewards you are eligible for. Your annual cash reward for purchases at OPEN SavingsSM is up to 5%. Your annual cash reward for all other purchases is up to 2.5%. Once your spending for the year exceeds $15,000, the cash reward for additional purchases at OPEN Savings is 2% and your annual cash reward for all other purchases is 1%. OPEN Savings are purchases at FedEx®, Hertz®, Staples®, and more. Partners are subject to change without notice.

I can't find this card on American Express's web site with the benefits as you describe. The only cash rebate card I see is the Platinum Business Cash Rebate card, described as:

"Cash Rebate: There is no limit to the amount of cash rewards you are eligible for. Your annual cash reward for purchases at OPEN SavingsSM is up to 5%. Your annual cash reward for all other purchases is up to 2.5%. Like which cards? In my case, I spend about 70k-80k annaully and couldn't find a better cash reward card. Do I miss some cards?

Like chase cash reward plus: 5% on everyday purchase
like household: 2% on everything
like mtvU: 5% on restaurant and books
and many others.

Is there a hidden introductory rate or initial tier?
I am in the market for a good CashBack cc.

Also do you need a regular fidelity bank account for the 1.5% Cash Back card.. and if not do they mail checks for the amount?
Thanks.

OK, I just dug out my card and called AMEX to make sure they hadn't changed anything since I got it earlier this year. The rep verified that the Cash Back tiers were as stated. I also found out there is a limit, but I think it's high enough that it still would beat Blue for most users. This card also has a bonus % at OPEN partners.
This is a cash rebate and the cycle goes Jan. - Jan.
It is called the Small Business Platinum Business Cash Rebate Card. The rep said it was still available. I mentioned that I coudn't find it on their site (I looked as well) and he said it should be there or just call in and ask for it.

0-20k = .5% (and 1% at OPEN partners)
20k-120k = 2.5% (and 5% at OPEN partners)
120+ = .5% (and 1% at OPEN partners)

Let us know if someone finds it. I got it just applying from their site one day because it offered $100 Cash Back after a purchase. When the card came it had the terms enclosed.

"You agree to use the Account only for legitimate purchases of goods and services for **personal family or household purposes."**

Anyone care to comment on that, and how stringent AMEX could be in enforcing that policy? (or if they already have been enforcing it in the past)

Tell them you're addicted to shopping but get buyer's remorse really bad before you can open anything. Seriously, though, this worries me. After accumulating 1k+ in rewards they could yank it all away.

We've been using the Blue Cash card for business expenses for several years now and they've never charged us with a T&C violation. I'm sure I just jinxed myself though.

The new T&C, along with much other info, are posted in the main thread on this card.
