I applied, then called 1800 number within 10 mins, approved. That's easy. My fico was 700 before I applied 3 citi cards(got 2)2 months ago, put 30K BT on it.. no idea how low it is now. |

Even this one has 3% with no cap

faztcobra said:Actually, you don't have to do a BT to get the Ipod...just 2k in purchases...much cheaper that way.
In addition, receive an AppleŽ iPod nano by making any combination of purchase or cash advance transactions (balance transfers included) totaling $2,000.§
In fact, doing a BT is not bad, considering now there are some 13/15-month CDs with 6% APY. |

The application you requested is currently unavailable.
Your business is important to us.
Please call us at one of the following numbers and we will be happy to process your request immediately:
United States 1-800-551-0839 Canada 1-800-876-6262 Ireland 1-800-409-510 United Kingdom Credit Cards 0-800-028-2440 United Kingdom Loans 0-800-551-441
Thank you for your interest."
I called the number and it says if you applied within 48 hours, you must wait at least 2 business days. I went on anyway and it says my phone number wasn't found. They must have closed for the weekend. |

Yeah I'll wait on applying for a card with free nano until they start giving those out.
That's what I am doing too. Wait a few more months, there will be more of these Nano offers. The new 2G Nano cost the same as the current 1G Nano. |

anon94305 said:Just curious, the NYJ card was offering a BT rate of 3% transfer fee with no max, did you still make the BT or were you able to get them to put a ceiling on the BT fee?
I paid 3% uncapped, but for that one it was 0% for *15* months, not 12. I think 3% is worth it to get (5.15%*1.25+iPod) or so. I'd obviously prefer to have paid less, but I figured it was fair since that was the only BT fee I ended up paying on my AOR. |

Wow, this deal makes me filling out the application at the ballpark just to get the commemerative towel seem kind of lame.
Then again, my credit score is trashed right now, and I'll probably get denied, but I've still got the gift. Joke's on them! Suckers! |

i have some stupid questions here, but please respond.
1. can you use this new card to pay off your other credit card balance? 2. also, for the 3% BT, does that mean, if i do a BT for the required $2000, it'll charge me $60? if that's the case, isn't that almost the price of a iGB nano anyway? |

1) Sure; that's what a balance xfer is. It'll cost you 3% of the transaction though. 2) The price of a 1GB Nano's probably between $100-$120 now that the new iPods are out. |

The way I read the terms, you can make $2000 in purchases and still qualify for the iPod. That would save you the 3% fee. |
