HASHAH said:I have a credit line of a $1000 also, but are we able to spend $1000, pay that then spend another $1000. To qualify you need to spend $2000 within the first 90 days, doesn't say we have to do it in one billing cycle. Anyone know?
I'm in the same boat and got $1000 CL, which is one of lowest I've gotten in a long time. Probably due to all the recent inquiries on my credit. I talked to a CSR who said you can do BT or spend $1000, pay it off, and then spend another $1000 or BT to qualify for this offer.
EDIT 10/14/06: I just got off the phone with one of their credit analysts (800-755-6860) who was able to move $7000 of my available credit from another account. I then transferred another $1000 to qualify for the Ipod. |

It sounds like they could possibly be sending out the 2nd generation 2gb Ipod. I found this in the Terms of Service.
§ Information about the reward program and the rates, fees, costs, and other benefits of the credit card appears with the online credit card application.
To qualify for the first reward (an official MLB™ licensed jersey), respond to this offer and use your new account within 90 days of the date the account is opened by FIA Card Services, N.A., to make any combination of purchase or cash advance transactions (includes balance transfers) totaling at least $75 (excludes transaction fees). Limit one (1) jersey per new account.
In addition, to qualify for the second reward, a 2GB AppleŽ iPod nano, respond to this offer and use your new account within 90 days of the date the account is opened by FIA Card Services, N.A., to make any combination of purchase or cash advance transactions (includes balance transfers) totaling at least $2,000. Limit one (1) 1GB Apple iPod nano per new account.
Allow 8-12 weeks for delivery after qualifying. Offer sponsored by FIA Card Services, N.A.: we may substitute an item of equal or greater value and we are not responsible for lost, stolen, or undelivered merchandise. U.S. residents must be 18 to apply for a credit card. |

Did you order a jersey or it's coming without calls and order? |

I called customer service about verification of the promotion on my account. I was told that I will get the ipod as long as I spend $1000 before 03/31/2007. At fatwallet.com, it lists as $2000 spending. Anyone has any idea about that? |

Guys,
Call the CS and ask them to transfer to "decider". I did the same thing. After the call was transfered to "decider" he asked me how i would like to use my card if approved. Being a FW'er for quite a while, i told him that i would like to make purchases and BT. He was like "Did you say you wanted to do a BT?" I said yes. He says "How much do you want to BT?" I say around $6000(Ofcourse i wouldn't do with that 3% no cap BT fee).
He asked me to wait while he goes through my credit history then probably he bit his nails for while just to make me think that he was working on something and then he comes back after around 10 secs and says your card is approved and the redit limit is $7500. And immediately he asks whether i want to do any BT. I said i forgot my credit card numbers at home and would call BOA once i get cards for BT.

I applied worldpoint and got approved immediately with a cl of $2900! Great deal and prepare to use it on BF for the free ipod nano!
BTW, is that a 1gb or 2gb nano? I am confused because it mention the 2gb then 1gb in the ad. |

I got my cards too. Except, when i called Cs, she confirmed me of $50 Statement credit but not the Ipod. I emailed her the link off FW and she is gonna call me tonight!! Hope everything goes well. All happened when i wanted her to confirm about the offer before i put $60 on my $2000 BT. |

I called as well and the CSR said there is no link between my card and free ipod offer I applied for $50 statement credit plus ipod Nano card and received BofA platinum plus word points card. She said to call them back next week since they are having number of web site issues regarding merger. She did not recommend doing BT now since she was pretty sure I will not get an ipod nano at this time. |
