You can also get an additional $25 bonus, making the total bonus to be $125, when you use the promotion code of "PROM-UW-CSSA-AY87" to apply for Citi Professional card through http://www.cardbenefit.com.

Promotion details are available at http://www.uwcssa.net/carddetails.html. You don't have to be a student at Univ of Wisconsin to use the promotion. It works for anyone who use the promotion code.

Good deal. Thanks~

terrific, thanks. i almost applied for one this morning because i wanted the 3 pts for every dollar spent on restaurants, but since they don't give Cash Back i wanted it in statement credit and that way it comes out much less than 3% back.

however the csr talked me into signing up for the preferred diamond rewards card (or some such name) saying that i'd get 5000 bonus points and that they can be lumped together with all their other point cards and when you get 25,000 pts you can fly round trip anywhere in the usa except for hawaii and alaska.

I would suggest that anyone really wanting a Citi Professional Card use www.cardoffers.com and get a $40.00 bonus with the same exact terms from Citi.

BTW, I have no affiliation with www.cardoffers.com other than I have received bonuses from them in the past.

the Citi Professional Cash Card is a better card than this one, real 3% Cash Back (not thankyou points) for restaurants, no sign up bonus for this one though.

I applied it last month and now the 10000 TN points are shown in my account and just redeemed it for $100 Shell gift card.

This one is the complement of Cash Cash Plus Reward (5% gas, supermarket, Drugstore). I will use it for restaurant and car rental to get 3% equivalent rebate.

I've had this card for a while, and I enjoy the 1 year balance transfer, but they have been very stingy with credit line increases thus far. While my other cards exceed a $10k line easy, they only offered me a $2k line with the professional card.

This isnt a new offer but some good discussion. I havent found any sites that give higher bonuses than cardoffers.com. You can also apply for 2 prof. cards through an AOR and relocate the limit from one card to the other for bt's.

trust me when i say, that's how this card is. doesn't matter what your credit score/history is, they'll give you 10k+ on other cards, but the pro card only 5k. its meant for business lunches and hotel stays, not financing your plasma tv

Great deal, instant approval, no fee...what's not to love? Will apply points toward another $100 Home Depot gc, sweet!

Just approved for 8k ... wife got 15k. I don't think determining CL is any different than for any other Citi card.

www.cardoffers.com gives you a $40 bonus if you apply for this card through them.

weird, i got a $6000 limit on my professional card and $4200 on my diamond preferred which i got simultaneously a week ago. wish i would had seen these $40 sign up bonuses however

This makes me think of a question I hadn't gotten around to posting yet:

If you sign up for one of these cards to get the benefit ($100 + $25 bonus + $40 from cardoffers in this case, if they can all be used together) and then cancel the card if you arent going to use it, is there a negative effect on your credit score?

where do you see the 40$ bonus?

Register on cardoffers.com, (free) and then you will see the $40.00

Normally how long does it take for cardoffers to send the bonus? I applied through them and got approved 2 weeks ago and the bonus is still not showing up in my cardoffers account.

Just apply through Cardsoffer and approved for $15K right on the spot. Will be doing some consolidation and BT. Thanks OP.

So how about applying for the Citi Professional w/10k bonus pts ($100 gc) thru cardoffers ($40).. Then after you redeem both offers, use its 1 year BT and then convert it into a Citi Professional CASH card (3% CashBack restaurants,etc.).

I didn't get instant approval. They will let me know by mail. My question is how does Cardoffers know I got approved or not? If they don't, then they're not going to give me $40 bonus?

same question from me. I didn't get instantly approved, but I called in the next day and provided additional information, and got approved immediately. 2 weeks have passed but nothing showed up in my cardoffers.com account.

is this a business card?

what i mean is, does it show up on your personal Credit Report?

I applied for a PermierPass Elite card from Citi more than a year ago, and didn't get approved on the spot but the card arrived two weeks later. The bonus from cardoffers appeared after my first or second statement from citi. Just be patient .

From another thread "The number to call for status is 888-201-4523(5am to 5pm PST). "

Just out of curiosity.. what additional information did they ask for?

Also, is this a business or personal card? Card desription makes it seem like a business card but doesn't ask for business name or EIN... so does this show up on your credit report?

some kind of address verification, since my mailing address is different from my residential address. I also did not provide my employment data in the online app, and the CSR asked for it over the phone. Once these 2 are done I was immediately approved.

I read from another thread that this will show up in your credit report. This is mid-way between a biz and personal card, which makes convertion difficult, as claimed by other FWers.

ahh ic.. thanks for the info

just found out after just applying at cardoffers that if you go to citi's website and sign up its 12months no intrest not 9 months man that is crappy think they would change it if I called?

Do they charge BT fee for this offer? cardoffers.com showed: A balance transfer fee applies with this offer (see site for details). But on Terms and Conditions, they say :3% of the amount of each balance transfer, $5 minimum, $50 maximum. However, there is no fee with the 0.00% APR balance transfer offer described above. get confused.
But I supposed there is no BT fee with cardoffers.com, correct me if I was wrong.

I don't think you can do any consolidation with this card. I was unable to move credit from either my citi personal (Dividend, AAdvantage) nor Business (AAdvantage) cards to my Citi Professional card, as it is somewhere "in between".

has anyone tried using this card in a foreign country for dining, and received 3% CashBack?

I just received the card and some of the benefits of the card that came as a surprise are:

1) Extended Warranty - Extend coverage up to one year on purchases
2) Purchase protection for 90 days from theft and damage

It took about 2 months to get my cardoffers.com check in the mail. I was happy though when I received it as I expected I wouldn't get it because it didn't show up in my cardoffers.com account.

I'm considering getting this card just for the free promos. Currentl using my Citi Dividend card for 9% back on gas (only thing I use it for)

I'd use this card for odds and ends rarely.

So which would be better. This or the Current Chase Rewards? This can provide instant approval. Chase takes awhile to get approved.

The Professional Cash card is awesome for BTs, it gives bonuses in professional dollars for each BT for at least 1,500.
