You can also get an additional $25 bonus, making the total bonus to be $125, when you use the promotion code of "PROM-UW-CSSA-AY87" to apply for Citi Professionalcard through http://www.cardbenefit.com.
Promotion details are available at http://www.uwcssa.net/carddetails.html. You don't have to be a student at Univ of Wisconsin to use the promotion. It works for anyone who use the promotion code.
terrific, thanks. i almost applied for one this morning because i wanted the 3 pts for every dollar spent on restaurants, but since they don't give Cash Back i wanted it in statement credit and that way it comes out much less than 3% back.
however the csr talked me into signing up for the preferred diamond rewards card (or some such name) saying that i'd get 5000 bonus points and that they can be lumped together with all their other point cards and when you get 25,000 pts you can fly round trip anywhere in the usa except for hawaii and alaska.
the Citi Professional Cash Card is a better card than this one, real 3% Cash Back (not thankyou points) for restaurants, no sign up bonus for this one though.
I applied it last month and now the 10000 TN points are shown in my account and just redeemed it for $100 Shell gift card.
This one is the complement of Cash Cash Plus Reward (5% gas, supermarket, Drugstore). I will use it for restaurant and car rental to get 3% equivalent rebate.
I've had this card for a while, and I enjoy the 1 year balance transfer, but they have been very stingy with credit line increases thus far. While my other cards exceed a $10k line easy, they only offered me a $2k line with the professionalcard.
This isnt a new offer but some good discussion. I havent found any sites that give higher bonuses than cardoffers.com. You can also apply for 2 prof. cards through an AOR and relocate the limit from one card to the other for bt's.

trust me when i say, that's how this card is. doesn't matter what your credit score/history is, they'll give you 10k+ on other cards, but the pro card only 5k. its meant for business lunches and hotel stays, not financing your plasma tv

Just approved for 8k ... wife got 15k. I don't think determining CL is any different than for any other Citi card.
weird, i got a $6000 limit on my professionalcard and $4200 on my diamond preferred which i got simultaneously a week ago. wish i would had seen these $40 sign up bonuses however
This makes me think of a question I hadn't gotten around to posting yet:
If you sign up for one of these cards to get the benefit ($100 + $25 bonus + $40 from cardoffers in this case, if they can all be used together) and then cancel the card if you arent going to use it, is there a negative effect on your credit score?

Normally how long does it take for cardoffers to send the bonus? I applied through them and got approved 2 weeks ago and the bonus is still not showing up in my cardoffers account.
