I've just spent the last half hour searching the forum (as well as the Chase website) and can't figure out how to actually redeem the reward points from my Chase Rewards Plus Mastercard. I vaguely remember thinking the site was https://www.choosemyrewards.com/ , but there is no logo and frankly the site looks like some type of scam. I find it odd that I can't find any link to reward redemption through the Chase website.

Can someone help me out, and hopefully create a thread for future searchers to find?

choosemyrewards.com is the website. I think its a legacy BankOne site hence the dated, odd look.

Did you try calling the number on the back of your card?

Edited to say, I guess BoG is feeling more generous than I.

Have you enroll yet? You click on order reward item once you have accumlated enough reward. I usually order a check but you need $50. I haven't use my chase card but that is going to change after 10/13/06.

You can call any Chase CSR to redeem also...but choosemyrewards is a legit site....just register and go into your account....As they mention on there now, they are apparently working on eliminating this website and letting you do your redeeming right from the regular Chase.com access that you now use to look at your Credit Card account...

The site does work, I've ordered and recieved numerous $50 checks from them.

Unfortunately, the site isn't part of the Chase.com site, but I just assumed it was this way to make sure you go looking for your rewards, and don't just happen to stumble upon them if you weren't aware.

Never know, I'm sure there are plenty of people out there with reards they could redeem, but are too ignorant to do so.

It's my understanding that there is a $300 limit per year on these Chase rewards cards. I'm about to hit my 30,000 points. What happens to the rest of the points I accrue this year? Do they get wasted or can I redeem them sometime in the future?

If you have Cash Plus Rewards...maximum cash is $300 per year....Rewards Plus is $600 per year.....Cash Plus Rewards points expire after 3 years...Rewards Plus, after 5 years....So, you can use them next year...but you still won't be able to get more than the allowed yearly limit, even if you are partly using your "hold over" points....

That's cool I can wait it's just that I don't have another 5% card to switch over to right now (are these offers gone for good?) and I don't want to keep putting points on this card if they are just going to go to waste. So technically I can redeem the 30,000 points next month and if I keep using the card through the end of the year and accrue another 30,000 points I can redeem those in January 2007 correct?

No, you can only earn up to 30,000 points per calender year on the Chase Cash Plus card so if you have already earned 30,000 points any spending above that will not earn points. If you have your chase cash plus rewards brochure you can look at "Cash Plus Rewards Program Rules and Regulation #5" which states

"Points earned are not transferable, have no cash value, and cannot be used as payment of obligation to us. If there is any abuse of the Program, failure to follow Program terms or any misrepresentation by you, all unreedemed points shall be forefeited and no additional poins shall accumulate. Maximum point accumulation on purchases is 30,000 points per Calendar Year. ("Calendar Year" means the twelve-month period beginning in January through December). Points from separate, enrolled Accounts may not be combined into one account."

Hope this helps. May be time to apply for another 5% card if you can still find one or get a chase freedom card with 3%.

Sorry about that...yes i checked, Joe is quite correct...so, wouldn't be much point in accumulating any more points for this year...if the link still works, see if you can sneak in for a Rewards Plus Visa Card, which is the one that someone like you should have had in the first place because you can accumulate to 75,000 pts per year of which 60,000 pts can be used for Cash Back, and the rest for other stuff (like gift cards, merchandise, etc..)...
