The $75 ($25 more) offer is here:
https://wwwa.applyonlinenow.com/USCCapp/Ctl/entry?sc=FAAEJ9

The $50 + iPod Nano (must make any combination of purchase, cash advance, or BT within 90 days) offer.
https://wwwa.applyonlinenow.com/USCCapp/Ctl/entry?sc=FAAH3M

Also, $75 rewards AMEX card (credit goes to mountainview)
https://wwwn.applyonlinenow.com/USCCapp/Ctl/entry?sc=M8U0

I've confirmed with a CSR. These offers are valid. In fact, both $75 offers are taken from BOA Online Access and the $50+iPod Nano is currently advertising on their website.

Nice. This is already on my AOR list, and the Ipod deal is just not worth it ($2000 in purchase/BT etc within 90 days..)

In the terms, there is following:

§§§ To qualify for the 2GB AppleŽ iPod nano, respond to this offer and use your new account within 90 days of the date the account is opened by Bank of America to make any combination of purchase or cash advance transactions (includes balance transfers) totaling at least $2,000. Limit one (1) 1GB Apple iPod nano per new account.

It is 2GB nano or 1GB that they are talking about?
Anyone have have any idea?

whoops

1GB nano does exist!!

Well, considering that the 1GB iPod Nano doesn't exist, my bets are that they meant 2GB.

RED FOR YOU!

Damn. Forgot about 1st generation.

signedup about a week ago but no word yet..am I being impatient? anyone gotten emails or any response yet?

Is this like MBNA worldpoints MC since BOA merged MBNA? How about for those still having old worldpoints in our drawers? Can we re-apply and then relocate CL?

I've not HEARD from them for 2 weeks, but it has already showed up on my CR. So, yay for legendary BOA Customer service.

I applied on Monday, but no instant decision. Card showed up that following Thursday.

I got an instance decision tonight, too.

Are there any easy ways of generating $2000 dollar purchase without actually spending the money?

sunspotzsz said: Are there any easy ways of generating $2000 dollar purchase without actually spending the money?

I am thinking of AMEX gift card from local grocery stores.

I just got my card, although there was no info about the nano offer. When I applied over the phone, I asked the CSR about the nano and he said everything would be disclosed in the mail.....

Anyone have more info?

Great card though, 0% on cash advance checks...

Thanks.

I got my card, but it was a Visa not Master card. Chat with CSR, but he was not sure if I can get the ipod.

Applied as a student about a week ago and didnt get an instant decision - just looked online and the CC shows up with a $1000 limit

Applied oct 8. Got the card, made $10 purchase, paid it off. Got the $75 statement credit today. About 30 days not too shabby. Thanks OP!

anyone know if theres an expiration date?

alleni said: anyone know if theres an expiration date?

They haven't said there is, but they'll end the offer whenever they want.

I do know it's still going today, I just called and got my money transferred over to a savings account so qualification is done for the I-POD. CSR said about 4 weeks tops on getting it.

Thanks, I also asked a CSR who had told me the same thing, no expiration dates but they can end anytime.

I was told that I am not eligible for the ipod since it only applies to MLB Jersey card not to WorldPoints card listed in this thread. Is this just the CSR has limited knowledge about their own offer or I need to start fighting the ipod through BBB?

which number did you call to make the transfer? thanks.

My wife signed up for worldpoints ($50 credit +Nano). She called to make sure the nano was on her profile when she activated the card, and the CSR was unsure. She said that my wife should "qualify" for the nano offer, and that she was going to request clarification from another department - she said they'd notify us by mail in 7-10 days.

Any updates on the ipod offer?

Singed up for the ipod offer, spend 1500 on the card during thanksgiving week, and called today to transfer another 550 to make it over 2000. the CSR said I would receive it in 6-8 weeks.

thanks, will sign up in a couple weeks.

Got my $75 credit today...

DETAILS:
--------
1. Charged $4.92 on 11/25/2006 at a fastfood restaurant
2. Made an online payment of $4.92 on 11/28/2006 which posted on 11/29/2006
3. Received $75 account credit on 12/4/2006

Will now call and request a credit balance refund...

Another FW happy ending.

Got my $50 credit today.

I was told that I will receive my ipod in 10-14 weeks.

BOA sucks when comes to bonus redemption!

Actually they're pretty good with giving out the bonus. I got the $75 credit after 13 days (1st purchase on 11/7, bonus on 11/20)

They also pay those bank account bonuses pretty fast

I was told 8-10 weeks for the ipod after being placed on hold for over 20 minutes.

I signed up for both cards with the $75 offers. I applied on the same day and only got one hit on Experian.

$75 statement credits were applied only after a week of the first charge on the account. That's fast! Thanks OP, and thanks BofA!

I am calling today again to check the status, and was told, the promotion is not on my account!?

bofa customer service sucks donkey compared to the FIA (schwab, etc) .

seriously. thankfully you can transfer BOFA lines to FIA and get the same good service.

I have a question. How to pay this credit card from an Non-BOA checking account?

I can not find any link in BOA website about that. The website of BOA only permits me to pay the CC bill by transfer or internal bill pay...

Any idea? Thanks.
