Nice, but see T&C : This offer is available only if the Business does not already have a CitiBusiness® Card and, within the previous 90 days, has not applied for or received a CitiBusiness® Card. I wonder if this includes other flavors of their business card, like Premierpass...

If you click apply and click the "Terms and Conditions" link, it says this:
3% of the amount of each balance transfer, $5 minimum, $50 maximum. However, there is no fee with the 0.00% APR balance transfer offer described above.

I have been approved for numerous business cards simply by using my name as the business name.
Another option is to get your own tax ID # from the IRS by going here It's easy and it's free and anyone can legally do it.

I'm really starting to hate Citi now. Now, rep is saying I'm only getting 10K pts! I told her about the link and pop up window but she still denied me. CSR said she'll open an investigation so we'll see.

DID ANYONE NOTICE THAT THE APPLICATION ASKS FOR INDIVIDUAL INCOME INSTEAD OF HOUSEHOLD INCOME? I HAVE NEVER SEEN THAT BEFORE.

Why don't you click the link, print it out, and fax it to them?
I called them and explained the promotion. The CSR did a "supervisor referral" and they will fix this issue on the account and I should see the points on my next statement. Hopefully they'll credit 15000 points extra instead of 5000

any phone # or website to check application status? Thx
Question for anyone owning this (or any other) Citi Business card:
-Will they allow me to reallocate some of my personal credit line (I have 4 personal cards with Citi) so I can take advantage of the 12 months 0% on this card? Or does Citi not allow reallocation b/w business and personal cards?

No, they don't allow transfer between personal and buss cards. That's what I was told.

Anyone got a BT with their name on the check and NOT the business name? Got my check but it is in my business name. Called yesterday and CSR said that it can ONLY be made out to the business name.
Saw in the other thread that someone got the BT in their name.

Actually, Citi does allow you to transfer credit line from your personal account to your business account. I did that a month ago and I call the number on my citi business card.

The deal is still alive.
I turned off popup blocker from firefox, go through citi's main page to navigate to CitiBusiness with ThankYou network card, clicked APPLY button, then clicked BACK button. A pop up showed up, just like OP's link. So I clicked the button to apply.
Hopefully i'll be able to get 15k w/o any phone calls to CS. I've printed all pages just for the record if something goes wrong.
Thanx, guys.

Of course you'll still have 5000 points. Lots of ways to top it up.
It took long enough.. but finally got all my gift cards for the 15000 points from this deal This week. I opened the citibusiness card Last October, had to email customer service, and after waiting months and months for the points to post..I pretty much gave up until I got a yodlee notice that the points had posted last month. 6 months is just a little too long.
Apparently there is now another similar deal, but for the Citi professional card turn off your pop-up blocker, open this link, click apply, close the window and you will see the pop-up for 15000 thank you points
I just got an offer from Citi for 3,000 TY points for the next $300 spent on this card that I haven't used since my AOR last November. I appreciate the 10% Cash Back bonus before I consolidate my lines for AOR 2.0 in November again.

I actually got this on my citi prof. cards, also, but mine requires 500 in purchases, still a nice deal...

Got the exact same offer on this card...had only used it for a couple small Staples purchases.
Still alive. What credit report has this one pulled for you all?

Citi always pulls EQ for me, but I'm in Virginia. I'm not sure why FWFers don't make more use of the credit pulls database at creditboards. Yes, in many ways, creditboards is a joke, but that database has helped me optimize several AORs.

Hey I registered there and slogged through a week of that crap just to get enough posts so I could add results to the database! It is a great resource and I wish it had more FW-type cards.

Maybe things have improved...?
Thanks for the data points folks.

maddybeagle said: Are people still having luck relocating personal citibank credit to the business side. I tried consolidating a diamond preferred card over and got a simple letter that they couldnt...Seems like Citibank is in high gear to cut off all of these loss leaders...
I managed to consolidate (not reallocate) a personal Diamond Preferred rewards (0% promo just expired)into my Citi business (0% promo not yet started). I called the business number and used the "need to make a big purchase, is their any way I can increase my CL?" line on him. He said that it would "get reviewed by an account manager and it would take 3 business days." I took this as a bad sign, but the new CL appeared online on Monday.
