Thanks.
No, but I won't be surprised if they deny rebate on receipt(s) that actually show someone else's name (e.g. most Shell receipts print cardholder name). |

For the Gas purchases, can I pay the gas by my gas gift card or I have to pay by credit card? |

The enrollment link above (in Quick Summary) shows this:
"Plus, for a limited time, you’ll receive a $100 Gas Cash-Back Certificate just for trying this optional program! Simply enroll in Credit Protector by 12/31/06. You can cancel Credit Protector at any time and the rebate coupon is yours to keep.1"
I would assume you can use it after you cancel, since they have "yours to keep." Of course, that could also mean you get to keep a worthless piece of paper.
Can someone who got a rebate form scan it for us (or type out the T&C?) |

One Cash-Back Certificate per cardmember. The Certificate will be mailed along with the membership materials. |

In the past, the fulfillment firm has interpreted "one per cardmember" to mean "one per person"--not "one per registered card." The first form submitted gets paid; later forms are rejected on the grounds of "duplicate submissions."
That happened with me on a similar plan that gave a $40 rebate certificate recently--the second (from a different Citi card) was rejected. So I'd expect the same on this new deal. |

I signed up on 11/9/06 have not got the coupon yet though but figured it would be in the mail and i would cancel, so I called a few hours ago and was told this. I am sure it YMMV but its worth it to try. He repeated back all of my info too so it sounded legit but im not sure, ill give it a week |

I enrolled 11/11 and got my enrollment materials today. The mail-in "certificate" is on the bottom of the welcome letter.
While the website has "one per cardmember" (or whatever they used), the certificate does not mention this at all. I've scanned and uploaded an image of the certificate.

Just got to know that the reciepts have to be the ones after the program starts. So we can not use previous receipts... |

I enrolled thru citi diamond for the $100 gas rebate. Does the cost $.85/$100 apply to all citi credit cards or just the citi diamond that I used to enroll the credit protection plan? For example, if I have $0 bal on the enrolled card but have $100 bal on other citi cards. Will my fee be $0 or $0.85? Thanks, |
