To those who got the cards...did you get the reward credit the same month ( or a month delay)?

I just saw my statement online and did not see they credit me the reward.

I had an idle Open Business Management Account - call to customer service converted it to SimplyCash within 5 minutes. They said that most (not all) Open cards can be converted.
Great, it saved me an extra credit inquiry.

I love AMEX and my Blue Cash card, but this offering is a pale comparison. Between fuel, groceries, and drugstores I easily spend over $1K/month. My Cingular account is only $840/year; I'll pass on the $42 rebate.......

How about all those Staples, OD, and OM deals? Plus you can still keep the Blue Cash card!

1. This is the AmE>< Simply Cash thread
2. You are quoting from terms made for a different card than the 5% Advanta .

sweet, no limits on rewards it seems, ill likely get this card

does anyone know if they consider shipping (like usps, ups, fedex, dhl) as "office supplies"
on their "Open Savings" page, where it shows you additional bonuses you get for using certain merchants, it lists fedex: http://www133.AmericanExpress.com/osbn/Landing/savewithpartners.asp
So theoretically they would give you 10% back.

Just got my first statement, I don't see where it lists the Cash Back. Anyone? Bueller?

edit:

Called AMEX. The Cash Back is credited to the next statement. (IE: you won't see it on your first statement.)

Have a Open business card and tried to convert it to SimplyCash card, got shot down by two reps. They said the only way to get the card is to apply for it.

I got a Cash Rebate Open card this month. I'm going to try to convert to this after the billing period closes with a $0 balance. Hopefully not too soon. The last poster didn't mention the type of Open card he attempted with. Not being able to switch from a charge card to credit would make sense. Either way, I want this card! (Just not will to open a new account for it. I need a bonus before any new account is opened on my end.)

Can anyone list the online/BM stores that qualify for 5%?

alert mods

there is no such specific list provided but you're talking about stores like Staples, officemax, Office Depot.

Why don't you open a new account with them. AMEX is very generous to give our new card. They may transfer some balance from your Platinum cash to Simplycash. That's what they did to me.

If you got them to mail you an invitation, there is a 150 bucks back bonus on the first purchase of 150+.

alert mods

Would like to know how to get the invitation too. Thanks, verydryice!

Planing to get this SimplyCash card soon!! Already got the business cash rebate card recently. The most interest point of this card is 5% on Staples. Another point is 5% on gas. But I have other card to cover 5% gas.
