SoulAssassin said:Applied on Friday, got an email this morning saying to call and verify some info. They just asked if I was self-employed or worked for a company. Then the CSR went on about also applying for a Citi MC w the 10K TY points at the same time. 0% no fee BT for 12mo from date of transfer. She said points can be combined w other TY cards so I did it. That's probably the first time a cc company actually asked me if I wanted to do a mini-AOR.
FYI, you get $40.00 Cash Back plus the 10K ThankYou bonus if you apply through CardOffers.com.
Earn a $40.00 Cash Reward from CardOffers.com if approved!
Edit to clarify: I am referring to the Citi Professional card. |

vrock said:got a call from citi this morning, And the rep offered me to take Citi Professional card also and told me I'll get 10000 more points for professional (along with 10000 points for citi AMEX rewads card). And professional card has also 0% for 12 months (12 month count start from first balance txfr). I gladly accepted professional card too
On AMEX reward card credit limit is $12000. On citi professional card limit is $7000. (and have $26000 limit on existing citi cards). Total credit limit on citi cards including new cards is $45,000, I'll take most of that amount as 0% APR. Now got to find a good rate 12months CD.
Thanks OP!!
I also received the exact same call about this offer after I was approved for the AMEX rewards card the day before. I accepted as well. |

received my AMEX and mc the other day and called to activate. Rep said that because the mc is a Citi Professional card which is technically a business card I can't move the line from my previously existing mc but I was able to move it to the new AMEX card. Weird, based on previous comments I thought they would do mc->mc but whatever.... |

How long after you applied online did it take for you to get approved and receive the card, etc....I signed up a couple of weeks ago but still have not heard anything (my credit is very good, so I am not fearing they will reject me, but just curious why it is taking so long).
Thanks |

I applied for this and the Citi Professional card on the same day, I got a decision deferred message for this one and an instant approval for $20k on the Professional card.
I got a letter in the mail a few days ago about the Citi AMEX and it says:
"Your application was processed by a credit scoring system that assigned a numerical value to various items on your application and your credit bureau report. Unfortunately, the result did not meet our requirements."
I know the Citi Professional is handled by a different division but jeez $20k credit line on one and rejection from another lol. |

Yeah 5000 bonus points here also. I called and got an address so if anyone else needs to dispute here it is. They said include a copy of the ad, your CC#, and a note explaining you didn't get full credit. Good Luck!

Thanks!! I checked that first, and obviously I didn't look close enough. Called tonight and CS was aware of the problem, and was going to take care of it and send a letter out to that effect. |

Can anyone send me or post a link to a scanned copy of the offer? They only credited my account with 5,000 pts. I know others in this thread are looking for a copy of the offer as well.
Thanks |

Ok, I can forgive one person for asking but did you not see that someone asked the same exact question, and had it answered, right above your post?
FWIW, I got 5K too, called and after getting bounced from a regular CSR to a Thank You points dept, then back to a regular CSR they submitted a request right over the phone to adjust without having to mail in anything. Just called the # on the back of the card. Rep was not aware of any major issue w this affecting multiple accounts so I guess he just believed me. |

5,000 points here too. I'm not mailing squat to them, or sitting on the phone only to get bounced around. I just submitted an e-mail request for the points. If I get a form reply from a clueless CSR or anything other than "We will deposit 5,000 points into your account soon," I will complain the BBB. I would urge all of you to do the same.
Edit: I received a reply within 5 minutes of my email referring me to the ThankYou points department (aren't they a separate company???). Guess I will let the BBB handle it from here. |

Same here. This is the third time in four months that Citi has tried to stiff me on TY points. I just got the last of my wife's ATT points credited about a month ago and now it looks like I'll be at it again. |
