mountainview said:$100 credit after 1st transaction of at least $25 A lot nicer than the $50 bonuses they give all the time. mountainview, with only 21 posts, you have made a lot of people a lot of money. I don't know how you find these, but keep it up. |

So, I already have a BOA AMEX card (they called me right after my AOR and asked if I'd like to get another card, I said "Sure, why not!") ... the question is can I somehow convert the card I have into this new one mountainview has found and get the bonus? I know this works with American Express, sometimes with CITI and Chase, but I have not come across much information on card conversions with BOA. Any opinions, experiences? |

There is a link to three 12 month 0% no fee BT offers. The links are not dead either and go to three such offers. Anyone do these recently and know if they are still being honored? The terms and conditions don't mention an expiration date for these. |

I have had MBNA/B of A Bill Pay Choice since before 2003, before the merger. I have since received a new credit card from B of A. When I log into my account and select PAY BILL, it brings me to the Bill Pay Choice site, but my new card is not available to make a payment. I've contacted customer service, and no one can direct me in how to add my new card. Any ideas? Thanks! |

Is it a BofA card (via bankofamerica.com, where it shows up in the list of accounts), or a cobranded one, showing up at ibsnetaccess.com? |

Has anyone had negative experiences with high utilization on BofA cards? I've been good and keeping it under 90%, but it's tempting to take a few thousand more out before rates get too squishy. |

I sent a message to customer service, referencing the offer text & chat that are posted in prior messages in this thread. Hopefully they remove it, otherwise I will be liquidating my account (and opening another in 6 months).
same for me, and for some others in the BoA $100 FWF thread too. I called in and the lady apologized and fixed that. She said she saw the CH100CTA code in my account and a waiver code was supposingly applied to remove any monthly fee. (I have never done a DD to this account.) The next day it was refunded. Who knows if it's gonna creep in next month! If not for the KTC program I will close this soon.
Same thing happened to me, they refunded next day and told me the fee would not be charged from now on.
I don't trust them. I ended up having my workplace DD $1 to my BoA account every month. For me it is an easy step to avoid any future hassles and lost of time (calling, transferring, waiting, etc...)
Update: since that first snafu, there have been no other charges for no DD with this offer. So they fixed the glitch. I opened an account with the CH100CTA code in March 2007. BOA charged a monthly service charge in May 2007, April 2008, and May 2008. Each time I got a refund and the phone rep stated that he/she was fixing the coding to make sure it wouldn't be charged again. I requested to close the account after the third time. |
