To get the info most applicable to myself, I query against state at the same time as creditor. Very often who gets pulled seems to vary by state. I was able to predict Citi accurately on my last two applications. Bear in mind that the info is only as good as the folks who put it there-- but it's still 100% helpful.

I recd a 3.99% BT offer till 11/08 with fee a cap of $75 on my Citi PremierPass card. I am thinking of using it to move some expiring intro offers but am being reluctant, wondering if I wait, citi will make better offers...like 1.99% or 3.99% for "life-of-balance"...what are others' experience in waiting? how long before they better the BT offers...my FICO has been going up from 705 last month to around 720 now. My utilization is about 49% but I have big balances outstanding. On one hand I want to pay down the balances a bit more so that my score will improve a little to get better offers and on the other hand I don't want to lose this offer as some balances will turn to about 8% in May....

Does citi better the offers in short order? Like to hear your experinces with citi on this. thanks.

My experience is they cycle BT offers after several months but havent paid much attention since I just apply for new cards with 0% offers and relocate...Also, I woulndt be to eager on waiting with them changing to fees on bt offers as the "norm" on existing accounts...if you are looking for a place to park, how about a cc with BOA billpay...

In mid-december I got rejected for a couple of citi cards (...said I had enough lines..) so I haven't applied for any new ones (also I have high balances with other creditors currently..)..my score probably was below 700 then. I am giving it time to improve my score before applying for new ones.

I have a lot of BofA lines but w/ high balances ... so not applying there now. I didn't understand what you meant by parking thru BillPay...? What is the advantage of BOA Billpay?

thanks.

There are several threads on boa's billpay, but basically, you can use a BOA cc to pay other cc's and some other items like helocs, insurance, etc and has the same grace period as your purchases (but without rewards)....it is good to use to extend your BT with other cards and pay min. payments on offers. If you signed up for one of the mbna cards with the service prior to the BOA merger or I signed up recently for a Fidelity Card and I was able to sign up that new card...

Anybody do a Citibank application recently? I kept getting a system error on the AT&T and Driver's Edge on the final step.

I have some old MBNA cards w/ billpay but haven't really looked into all the possibilities. I will check it out. Thanks!
