"Enjoy a 0% APR on balance transfers until either 5/1/07 or 1/1/08.* The duration of your introductory period will be based on our review of your application and credit history. No balance transfer fee with this offer."
The 10,000 TY points qualifies with first purchase within 3 months of account opening.
The 5 TY points/dollar for supermarkets, drugstores, and gas stations is for the first 12 months.
Card is Citi Diamond Preferred Rewards Card
Call 1-800-961-4841
EDIT: This is a different offer than OPs. Different phone number and no code. Different terms to the 0% period. OPs offer has better terms where the length of the 0% period does not depend on credit review. I thought that was very odd/new and maybe forthtelling of newer Citi offers.
Slightly OT so my apologies.. I am a noob to the BT game. I have been sitting on the fence for a long time so I am thinking of jumping into this one. I don't have balance on any card. How do I tell them that I want a check for the credit limit?

Getting a check for the same amount as the credit limit is not advisable. You have to read the BT and AOR threads before jumping on the fence.

Go here and read what this money blogger has written about doing the 0% BT game. MyMoneyBlog 0% BTs
With the AMEX logo will I be able to transfer the lines of credit off of my other AMEX Cards to this one? I am not sure about this because it is a CitiBank card and I assume only citibank credit limits will be transferable but never used a Citicard using AMEX before.

others have said no. cause this is a citi card, first and foremost, run by citi, not AMEX.

I transfered some credit from my (very new) Citi AMEX last week to my Citi mtvU. No hassle at all from the CSR. Called in the middle of the night (PST), and it was done within a few hours.

Just applied, and got approved. Not for as much of a CL as I'd hoped, but oh well. I did it online.
I'll make a purchase, get the 10,000 points, then once that's paid, I'll request a BT.
Question: in the past, Citi has offered to do a BT by just cutting me a check (or directly depositing it into my bank account). Can I do this? Or do I HAVE to directly transfer it to another bill (ie another credit card)? Obviously I'm hoping to collect a year's worth of interest.
Thanks in advance! It's the first time I'm actually attempting a BT with a 0% $0 option, so I'm slightly nervous!

Yes, this option is still avalible online or I suppose you could call and have a CSR do it.

Sure, but OP states that its no fee BT till 1/1/08. By the way, the fee is capped at $250, pretty high. Its definitely a plus if its no BT fee for 12 months.
Can anyone who applied for the card clearify this ?</blockquote>

I received the card and it said no fee for BT.</blockquote>
I know this is slightly off topic, but I searched the forums and couldn't find anything.
Does anyone know of a no fee, 0% BT offer from a lender other than citi? I want to transfer a balance I have on citi which will end 0% soon.

I have a question regarding the TY points; I'm just getting familiar with these TY points: Are these 10,000 bonus TY points redeemable only for restaurant gift cards? Can't you just accumulate them the way you accumulate other TY points to redeem them for an airline ticket or something else?
In the bottom of the scan it says: "As soon as these points are transferred from [...] call the Thank You Service Center to request your gift card"

I signed up for this card last time it was posted November/December 2006 and love it! Approved online right away, and the terms are awesome. Called in to request a check made out to me, and for a credit increase. Got the increase within 24 hours, and the check in about a week. 0% on BT amount for a year, and no fee. Make your first purchase, and receive 10,000 TY points.

How big was your original CL? How big was it after they approved your CL increase?

I received the card today and it said BT fee up to $250. What gives?
PS: Alright, called to clarify the thing and was told no BT fee and 10000 bonus points with first purchase. BTW, even if you don't have balance to transfer, the 5% reward on supermarket, gas, and drugstores purchases is a very good offer. I remember getting at least $300 in Cash Back with the same deal on old dividend card (sadly they have cut back to 1% now).
I read it, and didn't see anywhere, is it a "First time customer only" offer? I already have the Rewards MC, so does this offer exist for me?

Well, you'll have to travel to South Dakota to pick it up, and it's awful cold out that way this time of year.
Seriously, they issue in SD because that state has no usury laws and they can jack the rate up as high as they can get away with. They will mail the card to you.

I applied for this card, but the 10000 TY points after 1st purchase, wasn't listed on my application page. Does this mean this offer is over already?

12/23 - Applied and deferred
1/4 Called Citi, the CSR told me that the card was approved on 12/28 and I should get it in 7-10 business days after the approval date.
1/8 Card arrived in the mail, called CSR to confirm the 10000 TY. He said I would get it after the 1st purchase.
1/11 Used the card for $10.
1/17 End of monthly cycle-statement would be generated. I'll see whether 10K TY coming out. Stay tuned! If it is exactly the same as my Citi PremierPass, I would get 10K TY in the first statement.
