If that's the case you can do the CLI and then do a consolidation of CL from the same bank. This way you can have a high CL on just one card, which will allow you to save on BT fees, and also work on making minimum payments. Thanks!

That's a great idea even if you don't get cards from the same bank, if you wait until the higher limits report. Supposedly, issuers are more likely to give higher limits to applicants who have higher limits at other institutions. The situation you mention didn't work for me, since the only cards I had were from USAA and NFCU, who didn't have any good BT offers.

Yes. That was obviously the best deal yet. I'm banking $25K at 0% for a year, with a fee of only $75.

Going after FIA Elite Rewards Platinum Plus MC through cardoffers.com yields this:

The application you requested
is currently unavailable.

Your business is important to us.

Please call us at one of the following numbers and we will
be happy to process your request immediately:
United States 1-800-551-0839

United Kingdom Credit Cards 0-800-028-2440
United Kingdom Loans 0-800-051-0313

Thank you for your interest.

Googling it yields this (no cap on the fee) ... so if one gets really desperate, there's a phone # to call .

.. but realistically, looks like I've just missed one pretty sweet offer ... or may be somebody knows a variation of the above link that gives better T&C?

Updated with the FICO increase. This is really good news. I considered this a relatively large AOR, I only dropped 30 points, and less than 3 months later I'm on my way back up. I'm trying to get the Equifax split file fixed, but I'm getting bureaucratic pushback. Apparently they want me to list every single account that was removed. This could take a while. Anyone who has had success with this, suggestions are most welcome.

J Crash you are right.

The focus of my soon to be AOR (will not post here due to FWF saturation of AOR) is new 0% lines PRIMARILY with cc that allow consolidation so i can reconsolidate CC lines and bt $150000-$250000 into interest bearing accounts.

i have no need for a $50 gift card of a new account with a $500 CL.

That is where the money is made
