I have it (for almost a month now)....the initial set-up process is a little slow, but once you can get into your account, it is very "smooth sailing"....The interface is nice, and they use "Cashedge" for the transfers....You may link up to 20 (twenty) different checking or savings accounts to them....and you won't need to send in "voided checks" to add links like some internet savings accounts....
You can transfer up to $100,000 per day (one million per month max...lol) on a 3 day transfer....or up to $2,000 per day ($5,000 max per month) on a one day transfer...no charge for either type.....No tiers...no min balance required...excellent rate of 5.30% APY....Customer Service is good....and their online banking and transfers are dependable....
Also, they plan on eventually offering checking accounts and debit/atm cards as well....although not sure at this point if the savings account will also be accessable on the atm card....Their "parent" company, which is Flushing Savings Bank is a 12 branch community bank that had been around in the NYC area for like about 80 years...so it is backed by a dependable bank...
A note: Flushing Savings Bank is on the "Allpoint" network, so there is a chance the may include that when the checking accts/atm cards become available...and that would be great because Allpoint has about 30,000 surcharge free atms located all around the U.S. (mostly in drug stores, food stores, gas stations and dept. stores like Target, Macys, and others)....
I also had AMBOY Premium Online Savings, which was very good, but i like IGO Savings better because you can link multiple accounts (Amboy only allowed 1...and you had to mail in a voided check to change your link)....
It's very nice, indeed....![]()

Are you sure about that? My account says $2,000 daily limit for 1-day (Premium) and 3-day (Standard) transfers into iGO; $2,000 (1-day) and 15,000 (3-day) daily limit for transfers out of iGO. $5,000 monthly limit of incoming transfers and $25,000 monthly limit for outgoing transfers (3-days transfers); $5,000 both directions for 1-day transfers:
Standard (3-day) daily limit: 2K (into iGO) 15K (out of iGO)
Premium (1-day) daily limit: 2K (into iGO) 2K (out of iGO)
Monthly limit for Standard: 5K (into iGO) 25K (out of iGO)
Monthly limit for Premium: 5K (into iGO) 5K (out of iGO)
In sum, it is pretty restricting for transfers (in terms of amount) in both directions.
Personally I certainly hope that you're right![]()
76hhma, you are getting the original "cashedge" screen in your account...i forgot to mention about this....it's a little quirk in their system....after making your first regular transfer, and it is completed, you should see that screen "switch over" to one that shows the transfer limits i outlined....Now, if it does not do this, you will need to call them and have them manually switch it over (i had to do that, because mine didn't automatically switch)...they had a supervisor do it and within an hour i was good to go.....
Being that they are new with this, there is a few "rough edges" that still need smoothing out (that's one of them)....once i was changed over, everything is now running smooth for me in the account....
Once switched over to the proper transfer screen, you will see that on the 3 day transfers it is extremely liberal....One day transfers are much more restricted...you can only do up to $2,000 per day with a maximum of $5,000 in a 30 day "rolling" period....and they are talking about the total for both directions (not just one direction)....
On the 3 day, it would be $100,000 max per day...with a total of One Million in any 30 day rolling period (for both directions).....
Thanks, craig10x; that is great news.
I feel better of iGO now.
How's the delay (i.e., lost of interest in transfers) performance of iGO? TIA.
I think there is that typical loss of interest during the 3 day move over into IGO from your other bank....Of course, you can minimize that by using 1 day transfers, but that's much more limited in use due to the lower amounts permitted during the month...Other then that, and once you get the little "quirk" i just mentioned, smoothed out,....it seems to run very well....
The site is reliable, and the transfers go as scheduled.....The online statements appear automatically in the account each month.... ![]()
I think I may have to open.
Why can't I ever be satisfied where I'm at? ![]()
I am going to go to my Ratechasers Anonymous now.
So anything under $2000 gets transferred in one day?
I'm wondering if the interest lost even in one day would warrant a jump from 5% to 5.3%.
Will they allow you to open up several accounts under the same account umbrella like ING?
Does anyone know how Direct Deposits or Allocations will be handled? I see no mention of it on their website.
I myself was wondering about the whole direct deposit...because I was hoping to use it for this account. I assume it would be just like a normal account, but I might shoot them an email about it. Ill get back to you if I get a response.
Are there any special promotion codes to enter for any little "extras" they might be offering to those wanting to open an account?
I think I'm going to wait for a promotion code.
I just found out that I can have multiple Citibank e-savings accounts linked together. That will keep me happy for a little while.
I wouldn't be counting on any promotion code, if that's the main reason you are holding off on this account....I don't suspect they have any plans to offer any bonuses...the APY Rate is attractive enough to get people in....especially since there are no tiers or balance requirements.... ![]()
