markkundinger said:$191,000 in BT? Hokey smokes, that's pretty impressive. How much of that is going to be personal, and what's your total personal lines now? I think there's a pretty darn good chance of adverse action, which could be interesting
If you're lucky, whatever FR you had from AMEX will make you "immune" for a while from them. I kind of expect bad things from Chase (they've been tough lately), and PNC seems a little bit skittish.
over $160K is personal BT's for this AOR, the rest business, could not get many business 0% bt deals other than chase and citi. I still have 84K of BT in play from my first AOR, most come due in the next few months.
I also have 1 business BT from my prior aor that I did not initiate yet, It was a citi one that its 12 months from first BT that I opened june of 2006. I had another BT with them that ends in June of 2007. I plan on doing my BT on that one the beginning of June, paying off the 2006 BT account late may, waiting a couple of weeks and then closing that account and try to get them to move that credit line to my 0% card. there will be no fico hit as they are both business cards
total personal cl is now over 480K. |

I was just checking this thread out, and not to jack it or anything, but how are you going about to get the inquiries taken off of your report?? |

UPDATES:
My credit scores had a hit when all the accounts showed. but not as bad as I thought. I also utilized more than 90% of all my BT 0% offers with no negative effect from credit card issuers. I did have the infamous AMEX financial review but that went off without a problem.
A few more declines than I expected, but it was for too many cards, not for credit score or utilization. have been doing bumpage and have my TU down to 4 and eq down to 9, but once again Equifax file is too big and I cannot pull soft inquiries.
Received all my bonuses from the card companies.
One issue has been with card offers, received my check for only $70, I am supposed to get $220. awaiting a response from card offers. I applied and was approved before their new 2 card limit occurred.
I was able to reallocate from Cards that 0% expired to new cards with same issuer. I was not looking for more overall credit so this worked out the best as AMEX, Citi, BOFA and chase who I had several cards with allowed me to reallocate with no problem to take advantage of the 0% with new card.
Barclays was a pain as they first declined me, than told me to first reduce the cl of my other juniper cards and then reapply. WRONG INFO. I should have, when getting the rejection notice spoke directly to the credit department, instead of their main serivce area/application group, as once I spoke to the Credit department directly, they gave me the account and rallocated for the 0% offer.
QS has been updated. |

I'd like some more info on AMEX's FR. Because if I have this right, you reallocated credit from multiple cards, including business lines, and did a really monster BT. And yet no adverse action was taken on the FR?
I'm especially wondering if the income reported on your apps matched your tax records, and if you used the CLI button much recently. |

Is it just me, or does anyone else hear Howard Cosell in their head ("The New York Football Giants...") when reading OP's screen name?
I'm old.
Great thread, BTW. Always nice to see a monster AOR. |

You got it right, i moved cl from all the other cards except 1,000 per card to this card and did the monster BT and there has been no adverse action.
my personal income came close to my tax return. Business income I told them that it was less than a year old and a return has yet to be done. I did try the cli button, but would not get an increase when i tried. The AMEX Cl was built up over several years with multile cards, I was never able to get a increase using the cli button. If it didn't come up automatically, I wouldn't continue.
One other note, Ihave have an AMEX card for more than 8 years with them and had used their old starwood card for most purchases so I had a good track record with them. |

Received a letter in the mail from fia card services on my gmac equity rewards account. They stated that I was given the wrong 0% timeframe 9 months, instead of the 12 months that I should have received.
they adjusted my account to so the 0% now expires in 4/08. I was able to verify this by clicking on the transfer button online. When I first got the card, I called and the rep and stated that it was supposed to be for 12 months, but the rep stated its only 9 months. I wasn;t arguing since i reallocated 60K to this account and had it deposited to my bank with a $75 cap. Now it looks like fia card services found the error themselves and are correcting. |

Had my business premier pass 0% BT expire this month (from my first AOR) . I did not want to keep this card and pay the annual fee since the first year was fee free. I called citi and asked them to close the bus premier pass and if they can add the cl from that card to my other business card with citi.
At first, they told me they couldn't close the account, but I can move all but $1000 of the 13,500 CL to the other card and then I can call back and close the account. They said it would take 3 business days. AFTER 1 week nothing happened so I called back and found it was still being processed. I told the rep that I was just looking to combine the 2 accounts. The rep put me on hold for 5 minutes and was able to get the Card closed and the entire credit line moved. the other business card has a 0% offer in use with 11 months left on it, so after the cards were combined I did a BT for the entire $13,500.
Since these are business accounts, closing the business credit card will not impact my personal credit score (avg age of account) |

Was able to have all my transunion inquiries bumped and it now shows as 0. Have had no luck with bumpage on Equifax which stands at 11 for the past 2 years, but only 4 from the past year. |
