I got close to $100K that I got from credit cards with %0 APR, and the highest interest rate I can get is %5 from checkin accounts, so I am trying to get more, that is all You're talking about credit card money that your going to have to pay back in the near future? No way should you be putting that money in ARS. What will you do when it comes time to pay it back and you can't sell your positions? A lot of people have their money stuck in what have become illiquid investments. Seriously, unless you have spare money you don't need to access for many years, you should steer clear of these. |

How is it that the failure rate is so low on those MARS? Actually, looking at this list of recent MARS auctions, I find a number with a maximum rate of 0%. Where do you find how the maximum/failure rate is computed for these securities? |

Where do you find how the maximum/failure rate is computed for these securities? It's tied to the LIBOR more often than not. Libor current rates are:
(1 Month LIBOR Rate 0.45) (3 Month LIBOR Rate 1.23) (6 Month LIBOR Rate 1.78) |

UBS - will open an account for anyone except unless you have $500k there is $195 annual fee. I understand this fee is waived with direct deposit. Believe it or not, that came straight from a UBS F/A. Does anyone have the RMA account? Any reviews/comments on it? or the AMEX "Debit" Card program? Account opening process? Thanks. |

I scored some California Dept. of Wtr. Res. (Power Sys.) bonds paying 5.5% triple tax free. The question becomes how fast they get called. Fitch downgraded CA Dept of Water from AAA to AA3 with a stable outlook and S&P and Fitch still have them rated AAA with stable outlook. The bond is FSA insured with a letter of a credit from JP Morgan Chase. As long as the bond maintains a BBB+ rating or above it is fully liquid. So they are some high quality VRDN paying high rates still out their. I took all the inventory Citi had of this VRDN. |

Hi Dolmar. Can you share the CUSIP? Perhaps there is some inventory elsewhere. Thanks. SMTAB |
