Can anybody tell me what "home" means? I'll be buying a $14,000 pole barn kit at Menards in April. I just signed up for a platinum, asked for 15k BT, got a 6k CL. I'd love to know if I could buy 5k of building materials at Menards, pay off the card online, buy 5k more when the payment posts, and get $500 Cash Back. Maybe I should ask for a couple more cards. Do the Discover Business cards get the same 5% CashBack promos as the personal cards?
On the Get More page I see "You're signed up to get 5% CashBack Bonus on up to $1,000 in purchases." I read that as only the first $1000 spent will get a 5% bonus, maxing you at $50 dollars. Is that incorrect?

yea, before they had a higher cap, so some of us made quite a bit. but i guess they've changed in order to compensate

yes. get a citi premierpass. if you have any flights points, you can basically double it. then, to redeem it at 1%, you can get this credit for your student loan (basically a check, from what i hear).
Discover card is no good. Cancelled a 5% rebate on me with no notification. Luckly I was able to cash out the rewards with only a few dollars wasted.
I called Discover card up to cancel the card, they offered me a short term 1.9% BT transfer rate and raised my credit limit which I accepted since I had a balance I was just about to pay off in full with another card which had a higher rate. Discover card is my LEAST favorite card amongst all of them in fact. If I did not have an existing balance I would have closed out the account.
Morgan Stanley is a piece of work and just had someone indicted in an insider trading scandal.
